This used to be my favorite Starbucks because it was close to my house and I have been studying here since I was in college in 2015. I was with my BF and we were hungry so we brought McDonalds. A couple minutes eating and this employee (I believe his name is Leo) told my BF, "Hey, no outside food." My BF responded, "There are other people who are eating outside food and they have done it for longer than we have" (keep in mind that we came here once a week since 2015). Then Leo raised his voice and told us, "Hey, did you not listen?" No outside food." My BF and I put away our food and we were upset but we went back to doing what we are doing. Then I noticed that Leo kept eyeing us and I felt uncomfortable and told my BF and that's when Leo said, "You need to start acting like adults. There is no outside food allowed, okay? And I can hear you both talking st about me." I was appalled because neither my BF nor I cussed him out and he did. Then my BF responded, "Please don't talk to me like that" and again Leo ignored what my BF said and told us "to start acting like adults." MInd you, neither my BF nor I talked back to him and he assumed we were talking st about him...
For those of you who think I should have gone to the manager, I am sad to say that the manager seemed to be on Leo's side. I believe the manager's name is Jonathan, and he told us that the no-outside-food policy was new and now enforced. Don't you think that if Starbucks had a new policy, they would let us, the consumers, know? My BF nor I will not come back to this location while Leo is still working there ...
I'm upset because we've been coming here for years and I'm a Gold Member but my BF and I felt disrespected. What happened to having the highest level of customer satisfaction, Starbucks?
Please note that I never do this, but I felt like I had to because it was not right for Leo to get aggressive to us like that. We put away our food, like he aggressively asked. There was no need for Leo to tell us off like that afterwards.
I had to post here because I also posted on Twitter but Starbucks did not notice, even after multiple retweets from my followers.
I've been seeing other people post about Leo on Yelp reviews - so maybe it's time for Starbucks to reconsider having Leo continue...
Read moreWorst Starbucks to go to. I've worked for Starbucks corp before and have always had nothing but good experience, or been taken care of the few times there's been a mistake. Unfortunately I cannot say that about this particular location. Not all, but some of the employees are not very polite, and I say this because some are delightful. This is my neighborhood Starbucks and I go there daily and purchase my coffee. Sometimes I stop in twice and just grab basic ice waters, which working for them in the past, I know are free. As a courtesy I always tip them for the trouble, but today I did not receive good service. Not only did they deny me, even after I offered to pay for it, they lied and claimed it is specific to that location, even though they give them to me all the time there. I asked to speak with a manager after the gal assisting me was very rude, and the manager carried the same sassy attitude, and talked more like a teen in an argument than professionally. I explained to her I understood I was just confused why it'd never been a problem any other day I come, and was curious if they policy had changed so I'd know for future reference and she continued to be completely rude. It's just a little thing, but the way they handled it was very inpolite, and I told them they could keep the tip, and to have a good night. It is not the little details, it's the concept of good customer service, and respect . Not a good experience, very disappointed, however I know it is just certain ppl, and not neccisarliy the location. I will not be returning to this spot. I'd rather drive a little farther and receive exceptional service, and be treated with mutual respect. Btw the managers name was Jasmine, and I hope this review makes it up the chain of command, so hopefully they can make some changes and train some of the employees there to take pride and give respect in their...
Read morethis location used to have super sweet and amazing workers, i’m unsure what happened, literally almost everyone here had attitude and such a hostile environment, maybe they had a rough day and i truly do sympathize with retail and food workers but it’s not okay to ever just take it out on random people who didn’t cause that behavior to come out, my siblings and i went after a long day of trying to find stuff at the local target and Olga was working the register, i had asked for 3 drinks and at the end asked she asked for my name and i gave it to her but she was distracted by her coworker so i waited, she then asked me for my name again WITH harsh attitude and an awful tone in her voice, i repeated my name but honestly i didn’t deserve to be talked to like that, they also only call out names for mobile orders but not for in store orders, i ended up ordering what i forgot to order on the app because i honestly didn’t wanna speak to anyone again after that interaction, when i got my online order they said they were out of ham and swiss croissants, no biggie, so i was asked if i wanted something different and i said “it’s okay” and the lady said “if you don’t ask for anything you paid for nothing” again with attitude so i just chose the first thing she suggested, again i used to work retail and i get it, long days but it was just such unnecessary attitude, if you’re able to order on the app, just do that to avoid any...
