Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Comstock Charter Township

Sandwiches are generally excellent from here, so no real qualms about the quality of the food. I normally go through the drive-through. I can tell you for certain I'm not 'feakin' about how fast they are - I'm more about to 'freak out' about how slow they are.

In regards to delivery, this is really where my issue lies, and it's not specific to this location. My sandwich with tax = $7.59. Fees and a 20% tip = $7.10. So if I have the sandwich delivered, it's an almost $15 sandwich instead of less than $8. I see there is a 'delivery fee' as well as a 'service fee' which they claim, 'helps them operate their delivery service' - well then what is the delivery fee for? The driver? Then what is the tip for? I would be ordering left and right for delivery if the sandwich wasn't double the cost just to have it delivered. 50% markup for delivery? Okay, I would pay $10-$11. But 100% markup? No way - and I'm not going to stiff the driver on a tip...

Where’s the Turkey, Tom? Came in on 10/15/25 at 5:26pm, (Chk # 165). Ordered a “Turkey Tom”. After waiting way too long I finally asked the young kid at the counter if they had lost my order. He said, “Yes” and walked away. No explanation, no apology. I waited another 10 minutes and was handed a wrapped sub. When I opened it I found I had paid for what looked like a long hot dog bun with almost nothing in it. I’m done with this Jimmy John’s. I don’t pay this much money to be given a stick of bread with barely a shred of meat in it. Don’t bother responding to this review with your canned “please reach out our team so that we may contact the owner…” Everything you need to know is right...

This location is not always freaky fast. Depending on what crew is working, you either get the crew that is on it and there to work or the crew that is more focused on goofing off and messing around instead of doing your job- this is when your order tends to be wrong/ missing items and it doesn't matter if you're the only car in line or if it's 5 deep, nothing stops them from goofing off. I get places need workers, but when you're the only car in line and car see in the window, it shouldn't take almost 10min for 2 subs while you watch 3 workers dancing and goofing off instead of working...
