McDonald's — Restaurant in Comstock Charter Township

My fiancé and I went to this McDonald’s because it’s a 24hr. We got there around 3:30am. We were getting 2 things. A McDouble and a small french fry for myself. We had already gone to another McDonald’s for my fiancé, I was hoping there was breakfast available but it was too early. So I didn’t get anything, in hopes of maybe getting Taco Bell but there isn’t any Taco Bell’s that are 24hr. Well my love was sweet enough to take us to another place to get me some eats. Now like I said, we only ordered 2 things. Originally we were having a great time, the guy taking our order joked with us and said “ya sure you don’t wanna cookie”. We thought it was great, so my fiancé said “sure”. Lol. It was pretty funny. We went to the window, payed for our things, joked with the guy some more before pulling through to the 2nd window. He told us he had been trying to get people to buy cookies all night. Even better😆The lady opened the window after a few minutes of waiting, and asked us “could you pull to the rail?” We were a little shocked cause it was just a burger, fries and the extra cookie we ordered for fun. But we pulled up, waited and soon a different lady came to their 3rd window. She said “So we aren’t making fries right now is there anything else we can get you?” At this point I wasn’t very happy. I settled for McDonalds lunch, when I wanted McDonald’s breakfast. I was craving fries and they weren’t making them but we paid for them? She said they didn’t communicate correctly. Well yeah, clearly. I then resorted to maybe a 4 piece because let’s be real here what else was I going to get? Another burger? I genuinely wanted me some McDonald’s fries lol. Anyways. My love asked for me and she said “uuhhhmmm” and my fiancé responded with “is there going to be a surcharge?” She said no and that they would put extra “nuggies” in for us she’s got us she’s got us before walking back inside. Someone else came back (the lady that told us to pull to the rail) with our food and said they put some extra things inside for us. At this point I was just upset about the fries honestly. There was an apple pie, 3 extra cookies, and a 10 piece nugget. We didn’t eat the pie because we never get the Apple ones. And the cookie was supposed to be a good thing considering we didn’t even want it in the first place. Well the cookies were very hard. Our one single cookie was hard but warmed up. The other 3 were cold. The apple pie was warm, but again we don’t eat those ones. And the nuggets were trash. Dry and clearly thrown in to heat up. Overall it was an awful experience and I don’t recommend this McDonald’s. They need some employees that actually care. Not to mention, I’m sure they were just giving these things out because breakfast was starting at 4am and that’s probably why they weren’t making fries either. Now we’ve learned don’t go to a fast food place when they are switching to breakfast and also don’t go to Gull road McDonald’s either. Also. Ya girls pregnant, she just wanted...

I honestly cannot think of a place with worse customer service and ability to correctly fulfill an order. I truly don’t expect to be treated like I’m at a 5 star place, but when I say good morning to your face at the pay window… I would hope for literally any response, and when I finish it with “have a good day” and all I get is the window slammed on me… I genuinely can not understand this place. Maybe they hate me for ordering a frappe because that happened to me both times I ordered one… different workers. I understand they’re annoying to make.

One of the first times I came here in the drive through they sent me/my boyfriend to the side to wait for my meal… waited over 15 mins and no one came out, others had come and gone. Went inside to check, showed our receipt and they made our food for us. We threw away our receipt then checked the food and saw that they put ketchup and mustard on (which was requested to be left off) and when pointing it out to them all we could hear from the back was an extremely annoyed voice of “do they have a receipt” so we had to dig it out of their trash so they would remake it.

I keep trying to come back. I work nights and it’s the closest McDonald’s on my way. I’ll be going out of my way now.

And not to be crazy, but I was hoping a McDonald’s that still looks like the old cool McDonald’s would be a nice place to go… only 2 people have been nice to me in the 7-10 times gone since moving here in May. I gave 2 stars because there are at least two really wonderful women that work there. One with many tattoos, she was really nice. The other was there today at the food window, she was kind as well. I wish I asked their names because they deserve the recognition of being good at their job, at least from a customer...

I am honestly appalled and disgusted at what I endured this evening .. I placed an online order through the app it was only my second time doing so so not entirely sure how it works I placed it to be picked up through drive through so I didn’t have to leave my vehicle after coming through the drive through I gave them my code while sitting there for five minutes someone comes on there in the most ratchet way possible “we don’t got dat” “is it a mobile order or what” so I pulled around and came inside when I come inside the resteraunt the manager is standing there watches me walk into the establishment and doesn’t say hello how are you how can I help you nothing it takes for someone who was running food to help me when I tell her what I got going on she goes to look I hear the manager say we don’t got that order she must’ve not paid whatever when I’m literally showing them I paid 27 dollars for all my food showing her the code it gave me etc she proceeds to tell me I waited to long to come get my food when in fact I definitely didn’t and then has the audacity to argue with me and tell me I have to PAY AGAIN even after I already paid I just wanted my food and my money at this point thank god a worker came and said did u have this and that and I said yes that’s me and they said we got ur food right here I was really trying to hold my patience but I was standing there really getting frustrated because the manager wanted to argue she refused to try and problem solve and let me stand there for over 10 minutes waiting on one large fry . I work in a fast food place I know how it is . They need to do better than this trash and I hope yall see this too 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ not to mention my food tasted old...
