2SP Tap House & Grill — Restaurant in Concord Township

We came to 2SP for Saturday night dinner. It’s a huge restaurant, with booths and tables available. There’s a small bar on the right side of entrance. The restaurant appeared little gloomy and smelly to me, maybe cause of outrageous heat outside. The staff were super nice as they hurdled to setup our table, then hurdled again to setup our table again, when we requested to seat outside. The menu has bunch of drinks wine, beer, sangria. They have happy hour as well. I liked the strawberry peach sangria, very subtle taste of alcohol in it.

Food wise I like pretty much all the things I tried. Very nice garlic parmesan fries. Bacon mussels were cooked very nice with yummy sauce. Shrimp tacos came in a pair, with avocado paste, mango, and cabbage. I wish it came with some sort of salsa sauce that would have completed the dish. The hangover burger also looked so delicious.

The service was great throughout the dinner. Our waitress was very friendly. The food came out in decent pace. Overall we had a really wonderful chill dinner. Although I felt food wise it was 4 star, but an extra star just for outstanding friendly service...

I ordered a Impossible burger no cheese lettuce and tomato. I hate calling attention to myself by saying I’m vegan, I don’t like to be that “one” so I did not mention that. I received the burger with cheese and so I told the food runner I’m sorry I don’t eat cheese I’m vegan so he very happily said no worries I will have them remake that for you. I thought that was super nice of him. It came back very quickly and the new food runner oddly couldn’t look me in the eyes and it didn’t feel right. I lifted the bun no cheese great, I looked under the patty and there it was…. The outline of the cheese with bits of yellow cheese in the crevices! I thought oh no what do I actually do? If I return it a second time the same angry person that thought they could just scrape it off would probably give me another fun surprise I wasn’t willing to take a chance at. So knowing I wouldn’t die since it’s not an allergy I have, I ate it. I just won’t be back, that was pretty...

This place is done right on every level.

The venue is clean, spacious, the booths have tall walls in-between them for some privacy and less germs flung your way.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful. They're not pushy, and they are happy to explain menu items.

The beer, always a matter of taste but I put it on par with any local like Levante. It's solid, well done. Few make a good Pilsner but 2SP does.

The real kicker though is the food. Everything from appetizers to salads is just outstanding. The burgers will have you come back the next day. The chicken wings are cooked right and the chicken doesn't have the nasty dark bones some places serve where you know the chicken was fed garbage. The fries are to die for seriously.

Their kitchen knows what they're doing. It's truly excellent, I'm surprised this place isn't filled to the brim at all times; probably because the location is.. "eh", no fault of 2SP.
