The review is based on MY EXPERIENCE.
I lived here for 2 years. Overall, I would say good facility but expensive, especially now. I loved living here. These are the positives and negatives I felt, hopefully someone might find it useful.
PLUS POINTS: Great move-in experience. The entire unit and the appliances were almost same as we toured. Never had a problem with maintenance service in the apartment. Very very quick. The apartment was nice, enough lighting and BUG FREE👍. Plenty of trees in the campus, which makes the place nice and cool during summer. Door to door trash pick up every day. Elevator availability in the building is a big plus. They refunded most of the deposit amount, they didn’t charge unnecessarily👍. Move-in and Move-out experience was nice.
MINUS: Expensive apartments. No children’s play area. The elevator in our building wasn’t properly functioning for 3 to 4 months, it happened multiple times in 2 years i lived here. If you live in the ground floor you wouldn’t necessarily notice it but when you live in upper floors and to carry heavy grocery bags, bottled water packs, baby seats and other things every now and then, you will definitely notice. Also, stinky smelled elevators (SOMETIMES, NOT ALWAYS), probably due to trash services carrying trash. Roof leaking, there was a water leak in the roof of our unit. Each time we raise a ticket, they say it is corrected and close the ticket. On the next rain it leaks again. This cycle happened multiple times. I know they were working but it took so so long to fix the problem. Finally the ceiling was repaired and repaint just a week before we move out. During the second year I lived here, the maintenance and cleaning was less in the common areas like parking lots, corridors, lifts etc.. There was a power washing of the patios, balconies, corridors and all exterior surfaces in the first year which was good, but not in second year. It would have been great at least if they could clean the corridors once in a while. Also in the late summer-fall season, the parking spaces looked like it wasn’t swept for ages. When you do a morning/evening walk, you could see the dog trash cans overflowing and it hasn’t emptied for days and the strong unpleasant odor made it harder to pass...
Read moreIt was challenging, moving across the country, and everyone here has been very friendly. I am still working on getting accessibility measures together as I am a blind resident, but I think I’ll be able to work with the Leasing Office staff fairly well. One of the maintenance Professionals, Tom, happens to live in my building and has made a concerted effort to not only complete and follow-up on maintenance requests, but also grab large packages for me and help in small ways. He’s also very friendly and will always say hello when he sees me and respects the rules concerning my guide dog, etc. It is always nice when someone asks how they can help with accommodations, etc. instead of just treating you like a child This is a fantastic location to live. If you have a car as it is central to many things and write off the 202. I am hopeful that I’ll find my bearings, and individuals like Tom and manager Brittany, will assist in continuing to make our apartment stay a nice home.
It’s also very safe, there are a lot of families, but it’s not super loud and in general people keep to themselves or are friendly. The ceilings and floors seem quite thin as you can often hear the neighbors above you, which, depending on the person can be disruptive.
It is a pet allowed apartment, so there are quite a few dogs and some cats. I was very grateful there is an elevator in each building and they are each four floors. It’s also great that they have dog poo bag stations with trash cans to avoid people just not cleaning up after their pets. In addition, there is a trash service where you can put your trash right outside your door and they will come pick it up for you. Again as someone with a disability this is super nice. I wish the complex would compost and recycle, but I know that is also a...
Read moreWe have lived here for almost 2 years and are very much disappointed with our experience. Despite putting in numerous complaints about kids that are ALWAYS playing in the parking lot right outside our apartment, screaming, bouncing balls, throwing balls and rocks and hitting vehicles with the balls and rocks, putting their skateboards in the middle of the parking lot, purposely running IN FRONT of moving vehicles when they see vehicles going through the parking lot (that has recently happened to me THREE TIMES in the last week), and running up and down the hallways in the building knocking on peoples doors and running away....management does not care at all to put a stop to all this. The only thing they do is send emails to all families knowing that an email is not going to change any of that from happening. The parking lot is NOT a playground.
Besides that issue, every summer the pool constantly looks like it is never cleaned. It's disgusting to have our children swim in that.
As for the gym, some of the machines are not stable, and you also have those same kids who go into the gym and yoga room playing with the equipment and being loud. Why charge us for amenity fees if you are not going to properly clean the pool and keep those kids out of the gym and...
