Avoid this Walgreens at ALL cost - as they allow NON HANDICAPPED individuals to park in parking spots marked as HANDICAPPED PARKING - if you say anything you are told (as I was - I am handicapped, that I would just have to learn to "deal with it". Today 12/12/24 - I went there to pick up a script my heart doctor had prescribed and sent there (my bad, I have not switch pharmacies yet)-I was nearly hit by a young man who cut me off to park long ways in TWO handicapped spots - he was delivering LUNCH and when I told them in the store about this, they refused to do anything, I have filed an official complaint with the State Of PA for them violating the Americans With Disabilities Act (I tried writing not once, not twice but several times and I was supposed to get a call back from a District Manager - that was over a week ago, I am also in the process of checking with an attorney about this as well
If I could give this store ZERO STARS I would. Do NOT do curbside pickup if you are handicapped and can't walk(like me). You will sit there for HOURS waiting for your curbside pickup to come out. When you call the store(their text says if you have been waiting for longer than a certain amount of minutes, call the store), the manager will act like they are doing you a "big favor" to bring you your order and then STILL keep you waiting.
Then when you get their survey and express your concerns, you get a standard answer of "we have advised the manager of this store of your concerns" - yes, SURE YOU DO (NOT) because it happens over and over and over again. I am looking for another pharmacy, as Walgreens obviously doesn't care about it's...
Read moreI've never had an unpleasant experience here until today and I've been coming here for years. Staff in both front and pharmacy have always been cordial and helpful. Came in to pickup a curbside order after waiting in car. Figured maybe it's busy inside so no worries, I can just go in. Upon entering, there was a cashier at the register on her phone and probably 1 customer in entire store. No greeting or anything when she came over to the photo counter to assist me. She looked terribly inconvenienced to help me at all. I could tell because her mask was down under her nose too. As she's scanning my bag for pickup, another cashier came in, and without acknowledging me to hand me my receipt, she started talking about either another customer or a coworker that was "so rude" and I was still right in front of them. At first I was going to brush it off because they did look young, but I've seen other younger employees (HS or college-age) here who were all wonderful btw and have never had this experience. It bothered me enough to write this. Olivia was the name on her tag and I didn't get the 2nd employee's bame who came behind...
Read moreMy app said my prescription was filled so I went in to pick it up and waited at the counter for 20 minutes until someone finally came over and notice me there. They said my prescription was delayed due to an insurance auth so i told them i would just pay out of pocket. I waited another 15 min for them to get the prescription back and then they told me they needed to order the medication because they didn't have it there. Seems like this would have been indicated in the app so I wouldn't have wasted a visit. Also, they could have already had it on order so it would be ready to fill once the auth came through. Also, this pharmacy closes from 1:30 -2pm for a lunch break but dont expect them to answer your call if you call between 1pm and 1:30pm either. I later called at 1pm to check on my prescription and was put on a neverending hold without anyone picking up to let me know if they would ever get to me. I finally hung up at 1:30 since my own lunch was over. Ill use another pharmacy from now on.
They obviously don't care enough so i don't recommend coming here for critical...
