What a marvelous restaurant. The food was superb. In our group we had the beef ragu, haddock piccata, and veal Parmesan. All were cooked to perfection and were of a reasonable size to consume in one sitting. The beef short ribs were off the Boone and there was plenty of meat The pasta was exactly al dente to absorb the sauce and carry the flavors to your mouth. Haddock was soft and almost pudding - like in texture, served with broccoli rabe and perfectly cooked small potatoes. The lemon sauce was tangy and clung to every bite. Veal Parmesan was tender and smothered in an appropriate amount of cheese and sauce. The portion was such that we all had a taste with plenty for the primary diner. Drinks were cold and plentiful The beer menu was disappointing with little variety and no local craft beers. While on the pricey side it was fully worth What was charged Very busy and the tables are close together so the noise level is somewhat elevated, just barely below the conversation allowed level. As we had a booth near the kitchen, the level was just acceptable. Due to the busyness of the place it took two hostesses and a manager to keep the seating arranged properly. The result was that the few servers were pushed to the max. It took 10 minutes to see our server the first time. After that water, drinks, and food came out at a reasonable pace. The biggest disappointment, albeit a minor item, was the bread basket. It had four tiny 5 inch strips of undercooked flatbread. Well buttered and seasoned, but could they be any less generous? It was enough for one person and very chewy Better they not serve any than embarrass themselves with what the brought to the table Overall it was a good to very good dining experience with the food receiving an excellent rating.

Fiorella's in Concord is in a nice location. The decor helps create a cozy intimate environment. The food is good but a bit pricey. Two things detracted from my experience. The server, though efficient, was distant. It almost felt that she took on a "snooty" air as if to mimic the stereotype of Concord natives. She described both the specials that night as "to die for" with little other description. My husband had the lobster ravioli. He described it as good but not "to die for." The second thing that detracted from my overall impression was an email that led me to believe there would be a free appetizer or some other inducement to visit their restaurant. The email's mention of an envelope apparently referred to another email I had received in November or December. However, the January email did not explicitly refer back to it. I overheard two wait staff talking and saying others were confused by this. Instead of apologizing for the confusion, the manager just explained it again to me ... two times. The restaurant would do well to create a more friendly and welcoming environment.

Stopped here for lunch with my mom while we were visiting Concord for the first time. Our waitress was training and did a good job overall, though we were slightly concerned at first as she said she would try to get our orders right. Our food came to the table surprisingly quick. I had the braised beef ragu, and was shocked at how little sauce was over the pasta… the short rib itself was good but some of the pasta was mushy, and I ended up not finishing my plate or bringing it home. My mom had the goat cheese and walnut salad, and she said the chicken was okay but seemed pre-made, which tracks with how quickly it arrived to the table. The quality of the food, in our opinion, was reminiscent of an Olive Garden or Bertucci’s, which is a shame because the restaurant itself appeared to be more upscale. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Also, I was shocked to see a server openly texting for quite a while right next to us. Overall, just not the experience we were expecting unfortunately.

I have been to this place many times, because I live in town. And I brought lot of business to this Fiorella's Cucina. Almost anytime, I have had American, or European (tourists), friends, I brought them there. Then, for the first time, I had very poor service for the waitress who did not bring bread, then messed up my order, and gave gift of marinara sauce, not to me, for bringing the business, yet to the guest. He was shocked, how the waitress completely ignored me. And, as always, when bringing guests out of town, or country, I paid for the food. I am Mediterranean.

I did not wanted to blame the entire Fiorella's Cucina because of this waitresses, so on January 25th, I went there to celebrate a very special, 30 year, anniversary. Unfortunately, the waitress that I didn't like at all, was assigned to me, us. I didn't want to see that waitress near me, and I told her. Instead to apologize, and simply fix the situation by sending another to serve us, she got very angry. She know very well how much business I brought to Fiorella's Cucina, and how much, I, or my guests tip. She angrily left, and shorty after a manager visited, that I never saw before, with bow-tie.

When I told him, I do not want the waitress to serve me, he insisted to tell him why. I do not need to tell anyone why. I have a right to chose not be served by someone I do not like. I pay, not them to me. I did not wanted to tell him, but he forcefully insisted to find out why I do not like her to serve our food. I had no choice, so I told him the reason I do not like her to serve us, and especially our special anniversary dinner. And him (with a bow-tie) manager, started to defend the waitress, and tell me and my anniversary company to leave immediately. This had never happen to me, or my company, in our lifetime. And we been eating on all 5 continents, from Mexico and Monaco, to Macao.

My anniversary company were shocked. And I am talking about refine, worldly, and important people who I travel intensely with all over the world. And none of us had ever seen anything like it. This was so disgusting and uncultured treatment of me, and my guests. We still talk to everyone about it, leaving them speechless, and disbelieve of this horrible experience of ours.

And we will tell this to anyone (domestic, or international) who will, or will have any intent to visit Concord, about Fiorella's Cucina experience, and what had happen to us in details, so to strictly avoid and not to ruin their visit to beautiful and...

The following is my GF's and my experience at the Concord store on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at ~7:30 pm: In two words, extremely disappointing. We came to celebrate our one year anniversary of our first date at Fiorella's Concord. We had great memories of our visit there exactly one year previously and anticipated another tremendous experience. Alas, that would not be the case. We had visited the restaurant many times over the past year and felt that on each visit, it was descending deeper into mediocrity. Nonetheless, we elected to try and re-experience our first date experience. What a mistake! Firstly, let me say that the wait staff/hostesses/bartenders have always been great in our many experiences. Very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. The food, however, was average at best. We started with what turned out to be the most unsubstantial order of calamari we've ever experienced. Is squid an endangered species? What a ripoff. Surprisingly, this was followed by a very good and substantial arugula with pine nuts salad. Our entrees, however, would disappoint beyond words. I ordered chicken marsala that arrived with 1 inch chicken squares, that were rubbery, dry, and tough (spare chicken parts?), huge layers (slabs) of a barely prepared onion that were essentially unedible, and penne pasta. The quintesssential finishing marsala sauce one typically expects was nothing more than the dish doused with marsala wine. This was a lazy man's chicken marsala in every sense. Simply pathetic. My GF ordered Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli. It came with the same questionable chicken squares and fettucini. There was no Alfredo sauce to be found. Not surprisingly, it was dry. Wow. We couldn't stomach our meals at the time so we took our leftovers home. They'll likely remain in the fridge until we throw them out. Disappointingly, we will not be back. Management does not appear to be serious about producing a quality product any longer. Of course we'll share our "enjoyable" experience with our...

I can't say much about the interior of the restarted as I never got beyond the lobby. I spoke to a manager, ordered 7 dinners to go; to be picked up the next day at 6 pm she asked if 5:30 would be ok, and said no. I needed 6 pm She said that would be no problem at all Since my friend who was picking up owns Bedford Optical (shameless plug) and they dont close until 5:30, I really did need 6 as a pick up time Surprisingly the restaurant was slammed at 6 (on a Tuesday) so we had to wait for the order about 12 minutes. No problem. Went to my meeting. Everything was bagged and labeled with our names, so everyone knew which salad went with which entree. Everyone was pleased with the food. One who ordered the veal parm was expecting a patty like a frozen dinner would have, and was pleasantly surprised that it was "real veal" (please save your comments about veal being murder) I had the goat cheese and walnut salad and the haddock piccata. Both very good. Served with roasted red bliss potatos and broccoli. Both sides were very well cooked. Not over or under. I imagine it would be even better right from the kitchen rather than takeout. The scallop limoncello was remarked on, as something he would order again. We also had 2 chicken parm, and a lasagna. Good comments from everyone at dinner. Came to about 187 for the side salads and entrees for 7 including tax, but without tip. So a little more than Applebees or the 99, but not fine dining expensive either. They do have gluten free pasta available; Have an extensive Italian themed menu, with many fish options, lunch and dinner, children's portions. Regular adult portions are generous. No parking lot, but street parking didn't seem to be an issue, but it was a Tuesday evening. A very good choice for a night out.

Editor's correction: see restaurant reply. There is a nearby...
