Quality has definitely dropped over the years. I just went and got three double steak burgers and the bun is coated in such a thick flower. I had to remove the buns lettuce soggy Iāve complained a year ago or so and they made my food once Iām not gonna keep complaining Iām just gonna tell the public, see the image this is ridiculous.
Iāve been a fan of Freddyās and due to my job I have eaten at Freddys in almost every state that they exist in. When this Freddyās first came in, it was under great management. Top not service top-notch everything quality was on point. Itās declined rapidly over the years and youāll notice Iām a local guide because I review all over the country and Iāve only ever given one other one star. And this is it. Theyāre getting a one star review from me. See the attached image the burger patty is completely uncooked not even raw, uncooked. I called. No answer I called it rang and then it just hung up on me. If Corporate knew how badly it is franchise the branches running things they would lose their franchisee license. Iām so disappointed.
I offered to send a picture to him before sending it live and he thought I was trying to get his personal information I could care less. I posted it on here so that he could see it and then I was gonna take it down if he made it right, this manager doesnāt care about His customers. Iāve been a loyal customer for years since the day they opened I spoke with the district manager before they were opening, I was excited because I grew up eating at Freddyās in Texas, Texas. I called and the manager was rude. The āmanagerā thought I was trying to get his personal information. I donāt care about that I was trying to show him that the burger that he delivered me was raw and put his business up for food and health safety violations. I did this the right way. I contacted the manager. I told him what happened. He put me on hold for 10 minutes and then his first words out of his mouth is āyouāre not getting my personal phone number. āI was gonna show him the picture by posting it and then pulling it down. Thatās the most anonymous way to do it. Heās got my name and number. Iām not trying to get his name or anything. This guy is seriously not approaching this in the correct way. At this point, I hope Corporate sees this and decide to fire this guy. Iāve never wished that upon anyone but please look through all my other reviews. Youāll see Iāve got a very big following and all my reviews are always accurate and Iāve never given a one star and now I canāt say that. This guy deserved it. The establishment deserved it and if I get food poisoning, things are going to escalate I hate to say it, but youāve lost my business forever. You didnāt offer anything to rectify the situation instead you accuse me of trying to get your phone number, bro....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited this last Friday and couldnāt believe how poorly managed this location was compared to other locations in the area.
Young lady at the register was rude and hateful when taking our order, acted as if she was mad she was working, and kept rolling her eyes while asking simple menu questions. The place was fairly busy but NONE of the young workers were doing anything. 8-10 tables open with food, grease and trash on them with customers using napkins to wipe down just to have a place to sit. Floors filled with food and empty soda cups.
My wife asked a young woman with blue hair for a rag to wipe the table down while she was playing on her phone, she shrugged her off and walked to the back. We just used some wet wipes and washed a table down so we could eat. Food was good. The cooks seem to be the only employees that want to work.
This place had 10-12 younger employees standing around doing nothing but talking and playing on their phones.
Then the best part.. every trash can was overflowing with trash so we had to leave our trays on the table. Lol! What a disaster this place is. Go to the other locations if you want to eat in a clean establishment with employees who are happy to be there.
This Freddyās is no different than one of the Steak-N-Shakes that are now closed due to inept management. Itās sad, this place just opened less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI saw a commercial on TV last night, was going to be in the area and decided to give it a try. It was very crowded, around lunchtime, which I guess says people like it. We have Steak and Shake and Culver's in the area which are rather similar - steakburgers and and shakes/frozen custard. I had the prime rib steakburger, fries, and an "orange cream frost". I'll start with the latter - it was extra for the combo meal (expected), surprisingly small (when I first saw it, I thought it was a kid's drink), and the custard is a bit eggier than Ted Drewes. I'm not a big fan of eggier and it's been so long since I've had Culver's that I can't do a fair comparison. Maybe a 2 for the cream frost. Fries nice and crispy, but not really different from Steak and Shake, so maybe a 4. Prime rib steakburger, very tasty, moist, juicy, probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. Don't look too closely at the "prime rib" though, it seems to be a formed meat, like a gyro, and not actual slices of prime rib. Still a 5 though. The smokey fry sauce reminded me a lot of Raising Caine's special sauce with a little more smoke and tang. Service was pretty quick for such a crowded place. It was a bit crowded to fully appreciate the atmosphere, sort of 50's diner or In and Out Burger in California. There was a place in San Jose called Johnny's that it reminded...
