Exceptional Dining Experience - 5 Stars!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with my brother, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We made reservations for 12:00 PM and were seated promptly, which was a great start to our meal.

The service was top-tier, courtesy of our server Deja, who was friendly, polite, and attentive to our every need. She ensured that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish perfectly prepared and presented. The menu offered a great selection of options, and we were both impressed by the quality and flavor of our meals.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also impressive, with a warm and inviting ambiance that made us feel comfortable and relaxed.

To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the high-quality food and service we received.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Deja's exceptional service and the restaurant's attention to detail made our meal truly unforgettable. I will definitely be back and will encourage others to do the same. The location being right in the heart of Downtown Concord and the kind, welcoming behavior of the staff are the only two good things I can really say about this cafe. As far as the food goes, however, go somewhere else. Today we went for brunch, thrilled to see they were still serving it after 10:30 am. I ordered the Grits and Eggs which come with collards and jalepeno cheddar grits. This was handsdown the blandest meal I think I've ever had. Nothing was seasoned at all and I had to repeatedlg dump salt and tabasco into it just to be able to taste something.

Also wasn't a fan of the presentation as everything is just thrown on top of the grits rather than the grits in a bowl by themselves and the greens and eggs on the side. Given that this place is one of the few spots that serves brunch after 10:30, I REALLY want to see it do well! We’re so excited to have Union Street Cafe join the Downtown Concord community! It’s quickly become a go-to spot for brunch or lunch. The food is always fresh and made in-house, which you can absolutely taste in every bite.

The staff is super friendly and the service is always on point! It’s the kind of place where you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The vibe is cozy and comfortable, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a slow morning.

As a vegetarian, I really appreciate how accommodating they are with dietary preferences. My personal favorites are the chilaquiles and the black bean burger, while my husband is a fan of the breakfast burrito. You also can’t go wrong with a classic scramble or a fresh chop salad.
