King's Donuts — Restaurant in Concord

This place has the best donuts. It is second only to KK donuts for one reason: King's doesn't have a big old conveyor belt that pops out a fresh donut every half a second. They actually have to make the donuts.

But there is a reason that I like King's more thank KK. You don't find fat little hell-raisers running rampant around King's. I cannot say the same for KK donuts.

I've met a hundred people over the years who have never heard of Kings and it doesn't surprise me since the little restaurant is almost impossible to see from the road unless you're looking for it. I was shocked to see King's pop up on Google for review! They've been so humble over the years, just making and serving the best donuts every day. It's been the same two ladies for over 10 years. I've been going there since I was five years old and I still remember the same two ladies behind the counter. They haven't aged a day :) I would highly recommend King's to anyone and everyone who wants a donut, on a plate or not, with or without a fork, in or outside a diner, that satisfies their craving for donuts while impressing them with the quality. This little place offers you those options, and could not have stayed open this long if they weren't doing...

We are not much for donuts, but once or twice a month I will treat the family. I've lived in Concord for over twenty years, but King's is a little far away from me and the traditional places that I go. I recently got back from Europe, so my timing is all screwed up so I've been up since 4 am this morning on a Sunday, only to find that no other donut shop in the area opens until 7am... except King's so away I go! It is 6 am, I walk in, the person behind the counter is there smiling, thanked me for coming in, and even gave me the dozen with not just ONE extra donuts but TWO & 6 donut holes!!! The donuts were 💣💣💣, coffee was excellent and hot. It was $19.00 for the dozen assortment (including 2 chocolate filled pastries) and the large coffee!!! I am pretty sure she had no idea, it was my first time there...but it certainly won't be my last!!! Highly...

They have the most amazing sugar donuts! They are so warm and soft and they taste so sweet it's like eating a slice of love. My most favorite donut there would have to be the blueberry donut it's got a sugar glaze over the outside and little blueberry pieces with a touch of sugar.......... OMG I AM IN LOVE!!!!!! I dream about these 🍩 they make them so perfect I never knew donuts could taste this good. Oh and it's cash only I believe but it's a family run spot so I love supporting local businesses. I think everyone should go there as long as you don't take all the blueberry and sugar ones I'm cool with it 😍😬😁☺️💕💞🤞✌️ The service is wonderful, fast and always with a smile. They usually give you an extra donut as well. Love the ladies...
