Lil Robert's Place — Restaurant in Concord

Want something to do or somewhere to go on a Friday night that has friendly bar service, chatty regulars, local guest bands, and decent snack-like foods...then walk on in. The eclectic atmosphere and decor of donated couches, car seats and pews for sitting; art hanging on the walls done by locals (some for sale, too) for viewing; and countless metal signs advertising breweries and libations to street signs and the like are mounted on the walls and ceiling for reading, along with novelties such as an airplane, a kayak, a paddleboard and a stuffed moose that hang from the ceiling. The menu boasts of hot dogs, sandwiches and nachos with a few other finger foods to partake in while listening to the live band playing...

Great atmosphere, awesome beer list. We dropped in for a drink and a snack. Found several great craft beers on tap and a very cool place to sit and drink. The menu is definitely bar food. We ordered chips and salsa. They came in one of those plastic nacho trays like you would get at the movies which made us chuckle but we loved it. When ordering the chips my bf asked if the salsa was fresh. The guy responded "no, it's store bought as hell". We laughed and fell in love with the place in that moment. Will definitely be back. They have bands and open mic nights and judging from the music they were playing while we were there they seem to have good music taste. I'm sure the bands...

I went to Lil' Roberts Place a couple a years ago and will never go back. Was with a friend and a belligerent, drunken, man started hitting on her. She clearly wasn't interested yet he kept on. He proceeded to touch her and she told him to stop. Dude was doing the same thing to the female bartenders. I went to Robert himself and told him what was going on. His response? "What, are you jealous he's not touching/feeling on you?" NO ESTABLISHMENT SHOULD EVER CONDONE SEXUAL...
