I'm not normally someone who leaves bad reviews but Jesus Christ, stay away from this place. I've never encountered this bad of a combination of slow, rude, inattentive service; bad food; and poor cleanliness. The past several times I've been here the workers have completely ignored me and other customers for 10+ minutes. This is a long review, but I feel like I need to warn people or maybe just vent lol.
Once, they made my food but left it on their work counter. I stood there waiting for 17 minutes literally staring at my food and trying to get anyone's attention and being completely ignored despite other people being served who came in way after me. When I finally was able to get my food it was cold and all the ice in my drink melted. When I showed the time on the receipt (almost 20 minutes before) and asked if another drink could be made I got a blank stare and "Uhhh..... I don't know. That's up to my manager." I waited 5 more minutes for an iced coffee. The tortilla chips had a rancid taste that made me sick. Then an employee slipped and fell behind the counter and was crying and couldn't get up. The other employees just stared at her and seemed annoyed. A maintenance man ended up having to call an ambulance because everyone else was just stepping over her like she wasn't there.
This past time it again took 15+ minutes to get our food. The lady called my name, watched me come to the counter and gesture for the bag, then gave it to the customer who was standing in front of her and walked away? Instead of walking 4 feet down the counter to where I was?? The chips, again, tasted like they were 5 years out of date or soaked in spoiled oil. Went in the trash. The little tortilla strips in my taco were the same, I had to throw it away too. I got avocado salsa for my quesadilla and they didn't give me any, so I had to go back up and ask. Wouldn't have cared if they didn't cost extra. There was a line of like 6 people backed up by then who mostly had their food but were missing random things. I waited for 5 minutes before I could get someone's attention and he said he'd be right back with them. He never came back. Lol. Managed to grab someone else after another 5 and they literally just reached down and grabbed some.
The floor was also covered in filthy mop water and soap that had just been left to dry so I actually had to hold onto the counter a few times to stop from falling. A little kid slipped and fell immediately upon walking in. No wet floor sign. The ceiling was leaking in the back corner and there was no bucket or anything, just a giant puddle. FiancĂŠe and I ordered online for a quick dinner on 10/20 and picked up at the drive-thru. We've been to this location before, and the only difference this time was that we ordered ahead (a first time for us). We usually just order when we get there.
Very slow service due to being understaffed, which we understand isn't their fault, but we are used to that from this location. On top of that, most of the employees are obviously unhappy with their jobs. The times that we've eaten inside, it appears fairly grimy, and it isn't uncommon for employees to be arguing with each other behind the counter.
We just take/eat our food and go, no complaints. But this time, my fiancĂŠe noticed afterwards that she got charged twice for our online order of $31.43, making a total of $62.86 come out of her bank account. We were unable to go inside, because the front doors get locked fairly early, so we went back to the drive-thru. The employee at the speaker told us that we would need to either go online to request a refund or call their toll-free # for further assistance.
Unfortunately, the only way to "contact" them through their website is a feedback page, which doesn't guarantee anyone getting back to you, stating that if they find something is wrong, they'll reach out to you at the email provided.
So she gave them a call and after waiting for 20+ minutes was hung up on. After calling AGAIN and waiting yet another 20+ minutes, she finally got through to someone. After giving her info and discussing the issue, the woman on the other line stated she could only see one charge on her end and ultimately, would not refund the double-charge. After more back-and-forth regarding this issue, the woman ended hanging up.
Now we are eating the cost of a single trip to Taco Bell being $62.86, because of a flaw with their online ordering function.
I understand the double-charge is not the fault of the employees at this location, nor is it even the fault of this location. But unfortunately, if it is going to be this much of a hassle to speak to a real person to get our money back, the physical location should be able to...
   Read moreWorst experience tonight. Waited 35 minutes in line only to get up to the menu and be told that they are only taking door dash or mobile orders. I asked to speak with the manager as I was upset having to wait so long... The manager came on and started freaking out on me saying they aren't lazy or they don't care. They are having staffing issues which I understand. She was berating me and not listening to me stating that this was something they do in this store and I just have to deal with it. I was trying to explain that the mobile ordering tells me that this store can't take payment... She said well they assume people have smart phones... It's an app... She was clearly not listening to me. I reiterated that I have the app and it tells me the store won't take payments. She says that she heard people were having issues but she can't do anything about that. She ultimately agreed to take my order. When I got to the window a different person who claimed to be the manager asked if I had an issue with the person taking my order. I was nothing but polite to the girl taking my order after all it wasn't her decision. The woman I spoke to was clearly not the woman who I was speaking to. I was confused as the woman sounded like she smoked 2 packs a day and this was a young girl. Anyway I told her the only person I had an issue was the manager and she claimed that was her. I told her I didn't say anything derogatory to her employee that it could have been the kids in the car behind me as they were even more angry yelling that they should just work faster. At that point she turned to the employees and told them to start making my order making me wait even longer.... Over all I have had nothing but long lines and order mistakes from this Taco Bell... Disappointing. If the kids didn't like it I wouldn't be going...
