Look, I'm a relatively lenient person. I'm easygoing and I'm not the kind of person to freak out over a bit of a wait. But I am not kidding when I say it took 45 minutes from the time I got into the drive thru. And we only had two cars in front of us.
The kid they had working the drive thru had to have been high, like completely blitzed. Like, not able to hold a conversation let alone take an accurate food order. I had to repeat myself over and over and correct him several times. Half an hour later when we got to the window he went over the order and it was still wrong. I took the L at that point and didn't correct most of it.
He took our payment and just walked away. For several minutes. I could see an adult frantically taking orders at the dining room register while running back and forth to give directions to the kitchen staff. High-as-a-kite kid comes back to lean out the window with a pair of food service tongs to tell us it's an 8 minute wait if we want the chicken leg for the 3 piece meal. I tell him just make it all thighs. At this point if I have to add 8 minutes to the wait I am going to crawl through the window and deep fry this kid.
Several minutes later yet again he returns to ask if we had gotten our drinks, and we tell him we haven't? Gotten? Anything? Since we arrived at the window?? We finally get our food (and then ask for a missing biscuit) and our drinks, after being asked if we want ice in the iced tea. The one redeeming thing about this visit was that the food itself was fine. But definitely not fine enough for the hell we just experienced.
Popeyes, I know it's difficult to hire people right now, but maybe you could ditch the space cadet for literally...
Read moreAbsolutely awful. I went here with my family of five after seeing a movie. At first the food was good. Me and my three sisters got a spicy chicken sandwich. My mom got a normal chicken sandwich (keep the order in mind) and my dad got a chicken bacon sandwich. At first it was mediocre at best. It was fine and we were hungry. My youngest sister didn’t want to finish her sandwich, so she gave it to my dad. About two minutes into eating it he found a huge clump of hair. It was so much hair it was obviously not an accident. It was revolting. I had to stop eating. My other sister had already finished hers and I was a little more than halfway done. After the hair was found we decided we’d never come back, but that’s not all from the sand which from hell. About 30 minutes later, my sister who had completely finished her sandwich felt extremely sick. Clutching her stomach, and was on the verge of, not to be graphic, throwing up, which eventually happened. Now sitting here I feel extremely nauseous and I may or may not throw up, now my dad feels just as sick. The fries were also cold. Worst fast food experience and that’s saying something. Think twice before going here. If you enjoy eating hair and getting sick I highly recommend, but if you don’t want to feel absolutely horrible not even an hour later don’t go. Never going again and I suggest you don’t either. This was our first and last time there. Super excited at first wanted to die 20 minutes later. What started as a fun day with my family ended up being fast food served by satan.
We went through the drive through. It...
Read more3rd day being open - still very busy drive thru backed up so decided to go in - first thing I saw 10 bags of food on front counter, only a few tables open for dining, 5 people waiting for their food and 4 people in front of me to place their order - I thought they don’t have their act together - well I was surprised - a very nice and friendly blond hair young lady wearing a gray shirt who I assume was the manager cause everyone else was wearing orange - quickly with no problems took our orders while the crew called out orders for pick up - I sat down to wait and within 3 mins we had our order - it was cooked perfectly👍🏼 great job guys : I would like to suggest the 10 bags on counter as explained to me were call in orders waiting for pick up - they need to be placed behind counter to the left or right not in front exposed to everyone that comes in - plus the Manager needs to pin her blond hair back - it was pulled back losely in a clip with a lot of short pieces hanging in her face - lose hair flying around makes me very uncomfortable around food -other then that great job we will be back
Came back 3 days later surprise someone read my review Mgr had hair in hairnet and no call ahead order on counter - looked much more relaxed and into the grove - still tasted wonderful good friendly service Thank you for paying attention - u have my...
