So I have been here 3 times in the past..... 2 years, maybe? But the last time I went was the breaking point and I won't return. The first time I visited with 2 friends and we ordered regular drinks, no alcohol, and a pizza for the 3 of us. We got our drinks and waited for our pizza. And waited. And waited. And.... You guessed it, waited. It was not a busy night. The waitress was within our sight most of the time, but too far away to get her attention. She spent her time talking to another customer and playing with his child. Obviously they knew each other and they were catching up, which I have no issue with. But just drop off our food. We came to eat. We're hungry! By the time we actually received our pizza (brought by someone else, not our waitress), it took all of 2 seconds to realize that it had been done and sitting under the warmers for a while. The cheese was starting to congeal and it wasn't hot. Being starving by this point (and not really being people to complain) we ate anyway. In a first ever for any of us, we left exact change and no tip. Usually I tip 20% at least, but no freaking way. The second time, it was myself and one friend. We ordered our food and waited. And waited. Not nearly as long as the previous visit, but longer than necessary for how busy the place was. But whatever, I try to cut people slack. I saw the waitress going to tables, I figured she was just busy. When we received our food, we saw the waitress one more time. When she dropped off the check. She stopped at the other tables to check for refills, to see if they needed anything, etc. But she didn't do anything for us. Left 10% and got out of there. That was intended to be our final visit. The most recent visit was purely a matter of the restaurant being on the way home. It was a mistake. We stopped, sat, and waited at the table for about 7 minutes til our drink order was taken. We did get them rather quickly, and ordered food right then. My food came in a decent time. However, my friend's mini pizza showed up about 10 minutes later. I'm not a professional chef, but I know that pizza is pretty easy to time, especially for a restaurant that sells hundreds of pizzas a day. Luckily her pizza was still hot when it came out. But during this time, our waitress was cleaning up and resetting the 'party' area. Which I know needs done. But she completely neglected her tables while she did it. It took forever to get our checks, and then even longer to have her take them to pay and leave. The food is generally decent, and the pizza is good. But there's no way I can go back after my experiences. I love supporting local businesses, but this just can't be one of...
Read moreI had my 21st Birthday party there and I was very disappointed with buds. I enjoyed the time with my family but that's about it. I reserved a room over the phone and was told I would be in the shamrock room. I got there and there was a baby shower going on and they put us in the dinning room. Which is exactly where I didn't want to be because I have a 3 year old son and that's all he wanted to do the whole time was play with the claw machine. The heat was on so high above us it literally made my whole family sweat. It took an hour just to get a few people food and 5 people had to wait an hour and a half for there food. My mother in law's chicken for her GRILLED chicken salad was still frozen. My mom got a salad no onions and they gave her only onions. My uncle got a long island ice tea and it was dark brown and tasted like straight orange juice. My aunt paid extra for two extra develed eggs in her salad and they literally gave her one. My friend got shrimp and it wasn't cooked fully. When my aunt told the waitress about the long island ice tea she had an attitude and said "well I am not the bartender." Regardless that's not how you talk to a customer. When I told the manager all that was done was my pizza was taken off the bill along with 2 root beers and my mother in laws salad. She said I think you were disappointed when you walked in and found out you didn't have the shamrock room I said ah yea I was. Never going here again unless something is done. Even an apology to my family. Had to wait an hour and a half for the popcorn. Had to wait half an hour for drinks. It was so crowded it was ridiculous. When I went to leave to get my change from the down payment the waitress handed it to me said there is your change and I said thank you and she walked away real fast same thing happened with my uncle when he went to pay A FORMER SERVICE MAN who you were rude too!!!!! NOT EXCEPTABLE BY ANY MEANS!!!! My strawberry daquari was so strong in alcohol that's the only drink I got it was in a reg. Glass not how it is suppose to be. That's not really a big deal but it was my 21st Birthday and was suppose to be special. No thank you...
Read moreI wish I could give this wretched restaurant, if it could even be called that; negative stars because it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had waiting for food. My fiance and I went to Bud's for my Birthday celebration/dinner. We waited 10 minutes for a extremely rude hostess to come out of the back and scoff at us and said to sit anywhere in the area, as long as it was in the front or we would not receive service. Right here is a big negative, do not tell the customer what he or she has to do in a disrespectful way. We sat in an area with only a few people. There were 4 tables, mostly couples, and 2 "waitresses" who spent more time laughing, gossiping, and drinking than assisting the customers. After sitting for 10 minutes our waitress came over to our table, and forgot the menus which took her another 10 minutes to bring the menus out. So, we are already having a bad time here, but we decided to rough it out and hope for the best...we should have just left. It took her 15 minutes to bring us our water. I ordered a steak medium and my fiance ordered chicken strips. We waited 1 hour and 6 minutes for our food. 3 tables came in after us and received their food, one couple both ordered steaks well done and received them before us. The waitress finally brought out the food, if we can actually call it that. My steak was completely dry and burnt, it tasted like I imagine a boot would, and my mashed potatoes were of the texture of paste and tasted like they were still frozen. Not even drowning the food in pepper could take away the wretched taste and I tried to flag down the waitress, however, she purposely avoided our table when she seen I was not eating my food. I literally walked and broke up her conversation with the other waitress and she got an attitude with me. She never refilled my water, My fiance ate her food and is still in the restroom vomiting. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever attended and I hope it gets shut down and all the employees are never allowed to work in a...
