Burger Boy — Restaurant in Conroe

Burger was wrong from start with my pickup order. After I arrived home the burger was not close to the order I had placed. When I seen it was wrong I called first and they were going to give me a credit. After tasting the burger I went back to the restaurant to get it replaced. They did replace it but left out the onion rings in the bag from my original order.

When I received my correct order and returned to my house the order was correct but was not worth the hassle. You could tell the Patti in the burger was not fresh and was frozen. A mediocre hamburger at best. You would think from a place called Burger boy that the burger would actually be fresh meat. I did have one onion ring, which was also mediocre and probably frozen as well.

Additionally, I ordered steak fingers which Was better than most places in the area. Comparable to Dairy Queen but not over priced. I would’ve preferred more gravy but at the price they charge I will not complain. The french fries are also frozen and mediocre.

In my opinion, burger boy has okay burgers with a comparable price. That is if don’t have to return for a correct order.

The food was sub par and underwhelming compared to other reviews recently, the BLT had so little bacon it was funny, the BBQ burger was disappointing, the fries were flavorless pasty and unsalted, the only decent things were the burrito in chili and the onion rings. I can't imagine how this has better ratings than honey b ham, it blows my mind actually. Night and day difference, the food wasn't the worst I've had locally but it was not particularly good and I doubt I'll ever visit again. Don't trust the glowing reviews, they obviously have some sort of local bias, the best local burger thing must be a conspiracy the likes of Alex Jones could only conjure up. Update Feel free to ban me from here for life, I'll print it out and wear it as a pin on my shirt as a badge of honor. two days in a row, gave the benefit of doubt, maybe this place won best burger amongst crack heads and people who live with roaches like it's a normal thing. Not sure why the price is so high when all the ingredients are abysmally stingy, I almost threw up eating the last sandwich from this place because it was mostly mayo and bread and some lettuce and less than half the sandwich had meat to bite into. Oh my God this place...

Nothing fancy, just good food! My wife and I gave this place a shot. I ordered the double cheeseburger with fried mushrooms. My wife had a hamburger with onion rings. They have a great selection on their menu. Lots of choices. They brought the food out after a short wait and it was DELICIOUS!

If you want a dining "experience" full of "wow factor", this is not for you. If you want vegan, gluten-free, artisanal buns, exotic meats, gourmet condiments...go somewhere else. This place is for people who want a simple meal at a good price. The food is great. The burgers and sides were like home made. The portions were generous. The toppings on the burgers (veggies) were fresh and tasty. The buns were fresh and toasted to perfection. The meat had a good flavor to it. The mushrooms were delicious. The onion rings were some of the best my wife has ever had.

Don't let the modest dining room and the plain exterior fool you. This is a great place to eat. The people are nice and they provide good service. In addition to the dining room, they also have a drive-thru and a walk-up window. We saw a lot of people come in and pick up...
