Urban Grinds is hands-down the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’ll go out of my way just to get it. It’s owned by two badass women who know exactly what they’re doing. They handmake their syrups, carefully select their beans, and genuinely care about every single cup they serve.

The vibe? Immaculate. The space is warm, fun, and welcoming. They somehow make every interaction feel easy and personal. They host events that are actually fun, not just filler.

Their drinks? Flawless. I’ve tried tons of options and loved every single one. The advice they give when you want to try something new or just need a pick-me-up based on your mood is always spot-on. And the cups are adorable, aesthetically perfect, and often decorated with the cutest little doodles or notes. We may or may not have tried them out for the first time partially due to their cute cups (my wife has a weakness for cutesy aesthetic things).

Urban Grinds is everything a coffee shop should be. Local. Women-owned. Queer-owned. Consistently excellent. Welcoming. I truly don’t have a single negative thing to say....

I finally visited Urban Grinds Coffee Company for the first time, and they did not disappoint one bit! One of the owners, Aubrey, took my order and was the kindest human. I mentioned it was my first visit, and she offered to share some recommendations—then kindly walked me through their Halloween menu since I wanted something fall-themed. She also mentioned they make their own homemade syrups, which I thought was absolutely amazing! I ended up trying the Harvest Brulee, and it was dee-licioussss—it even had a subtle chicory root flavor that I loved. The vibe inside is so welcoming and warm; the plants give the space such a high-frequency, peaceful energy. I also love the small LOCAL vendor section at the front with so many cool local items. The cutest hidden gem in Conroe! Brittany and Audrey (the sweetest owners!) have truly created an atmosphere more on the relaxing end by the ambience of the space cozy and uniquely different! Brittany DEFINITELY steered me in the right direction as it was my first time here! I ordered the Harvest Brulee iced and was SO happy with the balanced taste of sweetness and coffee! The syrups are made in house and you can definitely tell by the intricacy of the flavor of the cold foam. I also tried Let’s Get Wicked and matcha lovers this is a must try!
