The Corner Pub — Restaurant in Conroe

Pretty bummed.

Checked this place out at the behest of a friend that grew up in the area. Saturday night, around 9:30 - good amount of people, but not what I'd consider busy.

Arrived with my friend and a group of about 5 girls to a nice live band. Hole in the wall vibe, but I dig it. Stood at the bar for 5 minutes - nothing. 10 minutes - nothing.

Look, I'm 6'5". There were two bartenders. I know y'all saw me, and if you somehow DIDN'T, I know y'all saw one of the other 6 people in my group at the bar. In fact, I KNOW y'all saw me because one of you standing behind the bar literally looked at me and proceeded to serve a new patron and had just walked up.

We're an easy-going group that was just looking to relax at your bar. Instead, you got $0 and 6 customers that will go out of their way to steer others away from your bar.

Not sure what I or my friends did you make y'all want to ignore us, but I hope it...

Service dog friendly! Took my SDiT Sunshine there after movie date night with my fiancé and was pleased that we weren't harassed about having a service dog.

Fake service dogs are a problem and I don't want pet owners to think this means it's ok to take pets there. I don't know the pet policy, but I don't believe they permit pets. (And passing a dog off as a SD or SDiT when it's not harms the work and training of dogs like mine, not to mention has a legal liability in Texas, so I'm not advocating for that.) But for the service dog community, it's nice to know others have had good experiences without harassment.

Naturally she stayed out of the way (see pic), but on the occasion we passed through or she was visible, the patrons were respectful and didn't try to approach or pet her.

Good food, cold drinks, great experience all around!! Will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great night,...

The corner pub is great! Its all about the music there, and there's no other place like it around. The people there are all so professional, inviting, and encouraging. The corner pub is doing such an amazing job at showcasing the talent that Conroe Texas has to offer. Turns out there is tons of brilliant musicians in this area. I'm thankful that the Corner Pub exists so that I'm able to experience such Talent practically every day of the week. If I had any complaints at all it would be that there are no pool tables or anyting like that besides one dart board on the wall that nobody plays. Now I say that, but I know that this just isn't what you come to the Corner Pub to do.
