Taste The Asian LLC — Restaurant in Conroe

Visited their food truck at Conroe Arts Festival downtown. Ordered two different eggrolls from the menu. When I received my order, I was shocked to discover it covered with some sickly gross mayonnaise-y sauce which I did not order and which was not mentioned at all on the menu.

Some folks just really don't care for certain kinds of sauces. And that's exactly the situation we had. I'm sure some folks love their sauce. I thought it was terrible and I would have never ordered it in a million years.

I wanted to return the items and get a replacement, but time was an issue. The initial order required a lengthy wait, and there was a much-longer queue of people. So I used paper napkins to wipe off as much of the gross unexpected unwanted sauce as possible, and somehow managed to eat the (now terrible-tasting, because of the sauce residue) eggrolls.

i just really wish that their menu would adequately and accurate describe how the dish is prepared. I was very disapointed to discover that the product came with a surprise sauce which I found to be totally gross beyond compare.

If the food truck fixes their menu because of this review, so that others do not have a similar unpleasant surprise, the purpose is served.

Coming from an Asian, this is a dishonor and slap in the face to ALL ASIANS! I was really excited to try out this restaurant based on the menu description, but was highly disappointed. This was the most disgusting, bland, not fresh, overcooked food ever prepared. Everybody don't need to be behind the stove in the kitchen, because this menu description is very misleading and I am upset at the fact that they call this asian cuisine. We live 5 mins away, and by the time we got home, the food was already cold. Brisket?! A joke! Porkbelly? Terrible experience with this restaurant. Whomever the owner is, if they know how to throw down in the kitchen, needs to take back their restaurant if they want a successful business, because the food quality is beyond repair right now. Never eating here again, and would never recommend to anyone. Asian cuisine is all about flavour, and this is disrespectful to asian culture because there wasn't any....

Oh. My. Goodness. Absolute deliciousness! We had to try a variety of menu choices because we couldn’t decide…potstickers, mama’s noodles, elote fries, pizza egg roll, and kimchi bulgogi quesadilla. Most items are served with their house sauce which is a creamy slightly spicy condiment that adds just another layer of flavor on top of their already well seasoned foods. The place is tiny with limited seating but our family of four caught it at the right time and grabbed counter seats overlooking the open kitchen. Illiana and Beth provided food suggestions and descriptions with a smile, suggested other options for seating outside or down the road at their sister place, Dragon Bowl Z, and even gave our two younger daughters their choice of tv programming to watch while we ate.
