This is a pretty new restaurant, so there’s a bit of room for improvement in my opinion but a strong contender for a really good place for Thai food in Conroe. The workers were super friendly, and it was nice inside, but the food was not great in my opinion—although I think it’s definitely something they can tweak and improve if they see fit!
I ordered takeout, and it stayed hot on the ride home which was great. I had the chicken pad see ew, mild (to see what it was like without spice). It was all cooked well, but as another reviewer said I found it pretty bland. It tasted more like the oil it cooked in than anything else unfortunately. The fried wontons were pretty good, but again a bit oily tasting and the sauce was pretty thin and not super flavorful. The mango sticky rice was not great; the mango itself was okay but not super fresh, but the rice seemed over cooked and congealed.
I will probably come back in another month or so to check this out again, because I am optimistic...
Read moreI try not to give 5 stars nilly willy but this place deserves all the praise. I've come twice during lunch to dine in. The first time they were a bit busy so I wasn't greeted. However, that didn't deter me from trying them. I got the hot green tea, crab rangoon, lunch pad see ew (comes w/soup & egg roll) & a thai tea to go both times. I really like that I can choose my own protein.
I forgot to take photos the first time so I ordered the same the second time & was not disappointed. I'm excited to try other items the next time I come & maybe try them for a dinner with my husband.
Service was great both times. Quick, efficient & friendly.
The atmosphere is quiet w/one TV in the back. It is small for dine in. If you are plus sized like me, asked to be seated in a chair as the booths are a little small & unjustable.
Overall great food, service & atmosphere. Thank you! Look forward to seeing...
Read moreI was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. As someone familiar with traditional Thai flavors, I found the dishes here to be extremely westernized and lacking the authenticity that makes Thai cuisine so vibrant and memorable. The food was bland, overly sweet, and missing the balance of herbs, spices, and freshness that define real Thai cooking. All of the food we ordered looked nothing like any of the pictures displayed in their menus and looked nothing like what you would receive Thailand. It felt more like a generic fast-food version than anything truly representative of Thailand’s rich culinary tradition.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food, this sadly isn’t it. It might suit those who prefer a milder, Americanized take on general Asian dishes, but it definitely couldn’t be call...
