Had purchased multiple cupcakes from here and they were delicious. I purchased a specialized cake for my mom for Mother's Day and, it was disgusting! Cake was super dry and the icing tasted like pure butter. All of the cake went straight into the trash can. Called to complain and my husband and I were given attitude by staff.

Update As for the comment as to why I left the review after stating I wouldn't is because, GOOGLE MAPS keeps asking for an honest review of your business. I had hopes this would be my go to bakery for all occasions but, after the cake we were given and the attitude we received we decided it was best to never return. We literally called your bakery while being in the middle of the party to inform your staff of the situation. When we called to inform your staff the cake was disgusting, your staff acted as if we were liars. I never asked for a free cake, a refund, replacement cake, or free cupcakes. That should have shown you that our call was sincere and honest, onsidering I wanted nothing from your company except a sincere apology, not the condescending one we were given by one of your staff members. I'm not out to ruin your business I'm just giving my honest experience. Your cakes might be amazing like your cupcakes once were but, that isn't what we received. My money was wasted and my mom was left without a cake on a day that we got together to celebrate her "Mothers Day." The "M" (initial for her name) had to be redone not ONCE but twice and, then we were infirmed due to the colors the "M" could no longer be fixed. I had rated this place a 5 star at one time, along with my immediate family to help draw people to your bakery as well as I, recommended your bakery to my close friends and family. Update to manager response. I wish I could post the picture I just took. I ordered the food between 11 and 12 to go. Its now 3 o'clock as I'm writing this. I ordered multiple things but I did not eat the salad I ordered immediately and thats what I'm referring to. You website mentions housemade dressings but what I got was packaged Ken's. The salad was the apple pecan gorganzola and there was no gorganzola. I would have brought it to their attention but as I said I did not eat it immediately. Also the girls preparing everything weren't communicating well so I sat waiting on it longer than I had to. Omg...horrible cappuccino...we ordered 2 vanilla and so excited to contribute to downtown conroe small business...we left and found ourselves almost throwing up after 2 sips...we found nearest trash can ...I called 20 minutes latter to tell ownership how terrible our coffee was and person I spoke to seemed not at all concerned..she said it wasn't normal...she wanted to leave it as such until I asked if she could fix it and then she said next time ask for her and mention ...horrible..you'd think she would have gone beyond thunderdome to rectify and make it right...so anyways I recommend if needing an experience strolling downtown conroe with a cup of coffee go to McDonald's or nearest gas...
