Candy Cane Park — Attraction in Conroe

I loved this park when I first went here. They have a few different playgrounds for the kids and a nice water park. I decided to do my sons first Birthday party there because I enjoyed it and it was a good location for my family. I do not suggest renting pavilions from them. The staff is not friendly and they will not accommodate for extenuating circumstances. We rented a pavilion and my dad ended up in the hospital. I called and asked if we could reschedule. She said no. It was too late to do so. Understandable. I explained to her that my dad was in the hospital and we are unaware if he is going to be awake. She didn't care. She interrupted me and said no. So my fiance called. She said if it rains out you can have your money back. If you don't show up you can get your deposit back. OK. Fine. We call the monday after the party and they say we were there. We were in the hospital with my dad. I explained to her that that's where we were. She raises her voice and says well sorry our ambassadors say you were there. So I'm getting upset. I raise my voice back and tell her that I can't control that other random people show up and have a party. It wasn't us. It's hard enough that my dad is in the hospital and I am unaware of his condition because he hasn't woken up since he'd been there. Well sorry but you were there is what my ambassadors say. To sum it all up. They will take your money they don't care about you and all I wanted was to reschedule the party. I paid for some random people to have a party because there ambassador says...

Well since I used to take my kids there to play and he's going to play basketball with some buddies of mine used to take my kids to swim at the old pool had been the new one when they were little and a great place to have picnics there's also the Conroe Museum On The Edge North West part of the property a lot of things to see they revamped the park made the place systems sets better safer and I have expanded the tennis courts quite a bit real nice tennis courts great walking trail well is it grounds are well kept and of course you have the intramural sports in sign your children up for it's always fun lots of crafts and stuff to do it's really great part really great complex too with a seniors and the activity center plug yourself in get involved in your community...

Has a decent price compared to the fun it brings. $8 entry per person for the waterpark kids 2 and younger are free. They offer a monthly or annual membership that's worth it if you go several times a month. The speed slide is great, blue slide is reasonably fast, but the green slide is very slow.

The park also has the REC center which houses an indoor basketball court (pro size) several indoor training rooms/dance studios and classes. Racquetball rooms, game room, and a small weights room. They have a childcare room open for periods of the week daily, typically.
