El Catracho — Restaurant in Conroe

I went to these place to try it out cause friends told me the place was good. Well when I went there , NO A/C they had big shop fans blowing hot air on us!! Very uncomfortable!! The food was a total rip off!!the drinks were a joke!!! Be ready to spend only cash!!! They don’t accept cards . Weird part of all this is that you pay the drinks separately from the food… the drinks are very expensive.. just for a plain water $5,00 highway robbery!!! The outside of this establishment is very filthy. SHAME on the lady that is the owner for running a business in the USA but not paying a Company to clean all the debris outside this establishment!! I think she still thinks she’s in HUNDURAS!! To have it all dirty!! MUJER SUCIA!!!🤮🤢🤮and get a credit card machine if your going to do business...

"Tristemente" fue una visita muy frustante ya que nos recomendaron de muy buena manera ir a "El Catracho" en Conroe para probar las Baleadas y fue una experiencia terrible la cual en toda mi vida no repetiria o recomendaria a nadie...

Nosotros compramos varios productos mas ordenamos varios platos de comida a probar ya que mi Señora Esposa es originaria de Honduras. "La Baleada Especial" con Carne, luce bien por afuera pero cuando uno intenta morderla o cortarla no se puede ni cortarla es como si la carne dura quemada al punto de estar carboniza fueran pedazos planos de ladrillos imposibles de usar en nada. Los otros platos con demasiada crema no permitted degustar el labor de cada plato.

Nota de recomendacion: Para evitar un mal servicio generalizado... Todo plato listo que salga de su cocina antes de ser entregado al cliente en su mesa necesita ser inspeccionado y asi tener seguridad que todo este con los mas altos estandares de calidad y control (en otras palabras todo bien).

Gracias a "Dios", conozco 80 paises en el mundo ya que visito y controlo la calidad y fabricacion de productos en las factorias. Los paises tienen diversas culturas con raizes profundas en el area de comida los cuales muchos platos tiene uno que ir al lugar de origen ya que son unicos tanto en sus componentes como la manera de corazon al hacerlos.

"Sadly", it was a very frustrating visit since we were highly recommended to go to "El Catracho" in Conroe so we can try the Baleadas, and it was a terrible experience that I would never repeat or recommend to anyone else...

We bought a few items plus ordered several dishes to try since my wife is originally from Honduras. "The Baleada Especial" with meat looks good on the outside, but when you try to bite into it or cut it, you can't even cut it. It's as if the tough meat is burnt to the point of being charred, like flat pieces of bricks that are impossible to use for anything. The other dishes, with too much cream, made it impossible to taste the work of each dish.

Recommendation note: To avoid widespread poor service... Every finished dish that leaves your kitchen before being delivered to the customer's table needs to be inspected and...

Terrible Service!!!!!

We sat down, and weren’t attended until 15 mins later, with a waitress that had a nasty nastyyy attitude, and kept talking back and asking stupid questions. We order to eat there, and we were given take out plastic plates. Which we were thankful because we grabbed them and left the place. Also for the size of Orchata I got for $5, it’s usually what you pay at any other place for $2-3.… oh and so you know, when people go to a restaurant, they also want to conversaré, so either have music playing or the TV playing, don’t have both playing at 100% volume. We couldn’t hear each other speak....
