McDonald's — Restaurant in Conroe

I ordered the $5 meal, it took 20 mins to get it. The McDouble was literally inside out, all of the ingredients on the outside of the burger. I asked for it to be remade, the lady at the front said, “what’s wrong with it?!” Ma’am you can’t tell me you don’t see this mess of onions and ketchup all over the outside. I wasn’t going to write a review because they corrected it, even though it took entirely way to long for stale nuggets, cold overcooked fries and an inside out burger. But as I was sitting there eating, a boy came from the back yelling “can I speak to a manager” as if he was making fun of me, probably the one who made it. Super uncomfortable at that point so I couldn’t finish just left. I rarely send food back unless it’s absolutely terrible and that was. And for the “manager lady” to look at it and not see the problem then the immature boy coming from the back yelling that, this store needs help. I’m super offended and embarrassed, it shouldn’t be a problem that I point out my burger was absolutely terrible visually. It should’ve never been served to me. I could see the ketchup and onions leaking on the outside before I ever open it. Horrible quality and horrible...

I just had the worst fast food experience of my life at this McDonald's. I tried to order a meal at the drive thru and the young man taking my order could not have been more rude if I had paid him to be rude. In all honesty, he was downright mean, even after me doing my best to be nice to him. I get it... People have bad days, and working in fast food sucks, which is why I'm always especially nice to fast food workers. However, my day wasn't great either, and I did not deserve the treatment I received from this McDonald's employee today. I didn't even get or pay for my food. I drove off after calling him an a-hole. Not my finest moment, I admit, but it had to be said. The only reason I am giving this location 3 stars is because every other time I've been there, the staff has been appropriately pleasant.

UPDATE: I still had a craving for a single cheeseburger with NO KETCHUP. I HATE KETCHUP! So, I went back today (the next day) to try to get one. Got home to a... you guessed it... cold cheeseburger with nothing but ketchup! UNBELIEVABLE!! Horrible service 2x in less than 24 hours. I will never go there again, not that they care. Reducing...

I cannot believe I am giving a McDonald's a 5 star, however, at the McDonald's in the Timewise gas station on Lake Conroe and hwy 105, there was a woman dining in with 2 small children, one of which was a child with autism. He was a little loud and his mother attempted to help calm him down enough to eat, but he was just on sensory overload, which is common. A customer complained and the worker she complained to went right up to the fam6and told them that everything was alright, not to worry about any scene her child might cause, she explained that she had a child with autism herself and understood the struggle that the mother was going through. The woman who complained left in a huff and infor one am glad of it. As a medical professional, I deal with patients suffering from mental issues, emotional issues, chemical issues and the like, I was pleasantly surprised by the workers attitude and demeanor to the mother. This may very well be the only time I give a McDonald's a 5 star review, but they earned in this case, btw, the food was hot and fresh...
