Just had my FINAL horrible experience with this Sonic. I arrived there and placed my order at 7:45pm and wasn't able to leave there with food until 9pm. I ordered $42 worth of food for the family. I have learned to always check the order due to the fact that it is ALWAYS wrong. There is always a poor excuse such as, "a new cook in the kitchen", "equipment is broken", etc. Everything on my receipt was keyed in correctly, however, NOTHING was made correctly. I ordered two caramel brownie blasts. I RECEIVED one turtle pecan, and one oreo cookie blast. I ordered a kid's meal with a cheeseburger PLAIN and DRY. I RECEIVED a kid's cheeseburger with cheese, pickles, mustard and ketchup. I ordered a number 2 with mayo, no onions or tomato. I RECEIVED a double bacon cheeseburger with onions, tomatoes, and mayo. They forgot the cheddar peppers I ordered so when they went back to get those, I was checking everything else and noticed the #2 burger. When I brought it to their attention that it was wrong, they took it back. For TWENTY minutes they were gone. A lady then came over the speaker and stated they were having to cook more meat and would have it right out. 10 minutes later, they brought out the SAME burger. The meat was ice cold and the bacon was still on it. They added mustard when it was only suppose to have mayo and merely pulled the tomato and onions off. When called AGAIN to fix it, they argued with me about what I had clearly stated TWICE. I complained that the other food I had already received is now getting cold, and our ice-creams were half melted. The lady then stated they could remake all of it but I would have to wait AND REPAY. I have never been that irritated at a fast food place in my life. Even the manager had nothing more to offer than a "free ice cream" on our next visit. Read moreUPDATE: It has been 3 weeks since my original post and the app for their location only still wasn't available for about another week after my posting. And now their app isn't working AGAIN! SHOCKER! This is ongoing, it's not a one time bad experience.
They always turn off use of the app for their location for days on end. All other locations will still work. I personally think they turn off the use of the app bc they don't want to honor the deals you get using the app. For example, the half price drinks anytime of day, you can order using the app or going online. Oh yeah, they turn off ordering online as well as in the app.
I have called and asked, "Since their app isn't working will you still give me the sale price that's on the app?" and they say No, we can't do that. I say, "Yes they can, they choose not to."
And some prices on menu are not the same as what they charge you. For example, a small tot is $1.69 on menu but your receipt shows $1.79. I tried posting picture of menu and of my receipt to show what I'm talking about but don't think Google allowed the picture with receipt.
And I swear it seems to never fail that when I pull into a bay the order screen is not working.... One day I pulled into 3 different bays before I found a working screen. Come On, Sonic, fix your screens already they have been broken for so long now. It's not even a temporary thing anymore. I fully expect to drive into a bay with a broken screen now. Read more😦☹😝The worst customer service ever!!!! Paid for a large and a small tater tot but.....when we got the order the large tater tot had less in it than the small. My daughter noticed it and said "I'm going to ask them why they charged us for a large when they only gave us a small?" She commenced to ask them and they asked "did we eat any if them?!?!?!" Who the h... questions a customer!?!? Then turns around and asks to see them as proof! Then they would give us more?!? WTH!!!!??? Needless to say I will not return to this location 😬😡😤if it had been handled better and the kids acted professional instead of (in plain sight!!!) Rolling their eyes, laughing, and looking at each other like they couldn't believe we were asking such a question!!!!???!!!?? Think of all the other customers that get shorted and don't say anything because they are in a hurry, or don't want to cause trouble, or simply don't care or mind that they are paying for something they did not get!?! Well my daughter and I do because every penny we earn matters to us.
