My husband and me went there to grab a burger. I ordered two combo jumbo jack cheeseburgers. The young guy that waited on us rang up our total. I ordered a regular fry and the other I ordered a curly fry in the combos. My total was over 14.00! I had him give me two regular fries instead. So a curly fry was an extra 3.00!? It brought the total down to 11.43. We got our order and I asked him “did you forget something else? (He forgot our drinks). So he gave me the cups. I asked for plenty of ketchup. He handed me two. I looked at it and said “sorry this isn’t ketchup it’s salsa. So while he’s ASKING one of the other employees where the ketchup is another customer comes up and hands him back her salsa and said she asked for ketchup. The guy did apologize. So we sit down to eat and after the first bite I told my husband “there’s something missing. I looked at my burger. It was missing cheese. I got up and went to tell the guy we ordered cheese burgers. He tells the “manager” I guess it was the manager. The “manager” goes to the back and comes back with a small cardboard tray with four slices of opened cheese in it!!! I was sooooo shocked I just stood there and looked at it. I asked her if it was opened with gloved hands. She held her two hands up and wiggled her fingers and said “yes mam”. I was still in shock and walked back to our table. I showed my husband what she did to rectify the issue. She actually opened up cheese slices and put them in a cardboard box n handed it to me! Cold cheese on a burger?? What about a hot burger with melted cheese!!?? I have never seen anything like this. Wouldn’t it be professional to offer fresh burgers since they messed up the order? Read moreAs a previous employee of Jack in the Box. Any customers should know exactly how disgusting this restaurant is. There are ants all over the fryer and fry station. It is quite frankly disgusting to see them crawl all over the fried foods and still be told to hand that food out to paying customers. The shake machine does not get cleaned on the overnight shifts, the manager himself has told all of the overnight shift not to clean it due to it being needed at all hours of the night for orders. So the machine will go 3-4 days without being cleaned at a time. Majority of the kitchen staff do not use gloves when handling food. The manager himself does not use gloves when handling food. I have seen absolutely nothing done about this issue by any members of management at this location. When anything, ranging from straws, napkins, cups, bags, food, sauces, etc. falls on the floor, the managers will tell you to just pick it up and put it back and still serve it to the customers. Food will sit for hours after being cooked and still be handed out to customers due to “stocking issues”. I have not once been told to, nor seen anyone clean the drink machines. Not even the nozzles. And everytime I wiped down the drink machine in the overnight shifts, it was disgusting. The fry station never gets cleaned. Old fried foods that happen to fall in the oil will sit for weeks at a time before someone gets around to fishing them out. Updated Review: Of course there’s no way to post a review on your FB page. There’s also no number to call to complain. Every number I’ve attempted to call has been a fake. The number direct to the store that screwed up my order (and therefore my night) responds with “the mailbox is full.” I always thought Jack in the Box had great customer service from the commercials and the way y’all present yourself. Guess not. In case you give a dingle: your store at 14640 Hwy 105 W, Montgomery TX 77356 charged me for loaded tiny tacos. I paid for loaded tiny tacos. I got a box of plain tacos without any kind of salsa or picante. I can’t even reach them by phone. They also gave me no receipt. Great doing business with you.
Old Review: I can’t reach you guys on the phone (it’s sending me to fax mode), but I wanted to take a moment to rave about you. I’ve never gone thru your drive thru on my way home from work without receiving excellent service from friendly, happy employees! The manager must be doing everything right because y’all are seriously the best!
