My friend and I came here after a recommendation and seeing they had such great reviews. Sadly we were left disappointed. It took a long time to get our food, which is not a problem as long as the correct order is brought and the food is good, I ended up waiting 40 minutes for a sandwich because the first item I was brought was not what I had ordered. My friend had the butternut squash duo, and while the sandwich was okay it was sweeter than it needed to be. We both though the butternut squash soup was far too sweet and tasted heavily of cinnamon. Not our cup of tea. The Mediterranean chicken sandwich I ordered was actually really good but the roasted potatoes it was served with were lacking in some much needed salt. We had read about the coffee and baked goods being so good we decided to go ahead and give the benefit of the doubt and try some as well. Much to our disappointment the muffins, we tried 6 different ones; were severely lacking in flavor. Our blueberry muffin only had 4 blueberries in it!!!!! Surprisingly their gluten-free blueberry muffin ended up being the most flavorful and moist of them all. The coffee was just ok, we both had the salted caramel latte. Im giving 3 stars because the chicken sandwich really was good and maybe they have some other good things on the menu worth trying but I dont think we would...

NW Conroe, Longmire Rd
Boho chic decor coffee house & Farm to table eatery.
Nice and comfortable on the inside. A drink, juice, milk & coffee menu with breakfast and lunch food options.
I had the brioche pulled pork sandwich. The bun was fresh and soft the meat was tender and juicy. The menu stated it was braised pork but the flavors didn't really come through for me. I picked up on thyme & rosemary instead of the chimichurri(Iirc) braised description. The menu also indicated sweet potatoes as a side but they were serving red potatoes instead, not a big deal to me just a note and likely an availability issue when doing Farm to table.
I had the Matcha milk, coconut, butter & honey drink which was well made.
The cafe needs some acoustic treatments. With solid smooth walls and a concrete floor the noise carries and anytime a chair is moved it's a noisy occurrence. Some felt pads on the chair legs and acoustic treatments on the walls or a rug would do wonders for this cafe.
The muffins were good and moist, not overly sweet and are definitely eye treats as well.
Overall: I wasn't blown away by the food but I will try them again after they've been open a bit longer and I'll probably stop in for some...
Read moreThe shop is really cute, but service was not great. I was the only customer there, and I looked at the menu and realized all the sandwiches were $17, but I still wanted to support a local cafe, so I offered a kolache for like $4. The cashier was the only worker, and it took her about 15 minutes to bring my kolache to my table. Why?? The kolache was already cooked she just had to throw it in the microwave! I don’t understand. On top of the wait time, the kolache I received was burnt on top. The kolache didn’t have a good flavor either. The dough was not salted enough and tasted like nothing. It was also more of a biscuit texture than a kolache texture. I don’t think I will return. With prices like that y’all need to do better. There’s no reason to have such bad service when there is nobody else in the store and the customer ordered a precooked item that shouldn’t take more than 2 minutes to warm up… I always try to support local places but...
