A1 Wings — Restaurant in Marietta

Overall, I'm really glad this place exists. I ordered just wings tonight. I ordered Lemon Pepper and "Powder" Ranch. I've never heard ranch called that, but it's an accurate description and exactly what I received. Probably some of the more well seasoned and crisped wings I've had in a long time, especially on this side of town. 10/10 recommend if you're a fan of ranch wings.

The lemon pepper, not so much. Most places offer a wet or dry version. I was hoping it was the more common dry seasoning, but it was not. They were slathered in some sort of watery sauce, which leaked in the bag, and sprinkled with LP seasoning. Compared to the ranch wings, these were almost rubbery. Like they had been sitting, soaking in that sauce. It also had a faint hint of cleaning solution. I've experienced that at new restaurants before, so I don't suspect an accidental contamination, but it was unsettling. If it wasn't contaminated, then that's even more evidence they had been sitting for some time (or maybe the sauce is premixed and was exposed to the air).

If I'd just gotten ranch, my rating would be a 5/5 stars, but the LP wings were really disappointing. That being said, I am absolutely going back. I'm looking forward to pairing the ranch with another flavor!

Edit 4/10/25: Just wanted to add that I ordered a trio of 6 wings tonight to maximize my sampling experience. Of course I went back with the Ranch. I added on Teriyaki and Jerk. Both were delicious! They are so incredibly fast, too. All 3 have great flavor. The teriyaki, despite being in a sauce maintained their crisp, which is generally hard to do without overcooking the wings - not the case here!

Tonight's experience has me more convinced the Lemon Pepper from last time was an anomaly. But I'm not ready to try them again just yet. Maybe next time.

Edit 6/20/25: Upping my rating after numerous positive experiences. Every time I get a craving for wings, this is the place that hits the spot for me. I think I just had a bad batch of LP...

I asked for mild wings and once I recieved the order they appeared very HOT for my 82 year old mom. I was a problem with them and didnt want to get something different. The owner was in ladies room and the young girl asked for her help and it took her over five minutes to come out. She also appear to have a issue because I didnt want those wings for my mom and guess what my mother couldnt eat them. Do go there service is AWFUL. New business you want have return guess treating...

I never leave reviews but these are so good! I went to only pick up wings yesterday they are superb! My favorite was the juicy cajun butter sauce !The okra the flavour of the sauces is top notch definitely going to be pur go to wing spot,we usually hate the acidity of the sauces and the saltiness of most places but these are AMAZING !Also the price and the attention to customer suprised me !Also might i add they had my wings...
