Love this location! By far the best one in all of Sarasota County. Even when/if understaffed I rarely ever have a wait for my food when I'm headed to work in the morning (I say when/if understaffed without knowing the stores basic or maximum staffing abilities.). Basic staff and management staff are great, always greeted with a smile, and management staff is very hard working either taking orders, making food, or bagging up orders just to make sure orders are getting out as quickly as possible. Most of the staff there knows my order when I walk in every morning and only ask if I'm getting something else or adding anything to my order. Alicia is the manager I primarily deal with when/if I have a problem with my order, and she's absolutely the best. She makes sure to correct the mistake that every and any human being can and will eventually make, cuz ya know, we're human. I've never felt like a mistake entitled me to any freebies or my order being free or remade with a refund, cuz again, mistakes happen. I read a lot of negative reviews about cold and soggy hashbrowns, I too have this problem but have figured out that it has more to do with them being boxed with no ventilation, so the steam from them rises to the lid of the box and creates condensation that can cause them to be soggy. The being a bit on the cold side for me is due to having a 15 minute drive to work from this location. CFA corporate should maybe look into using smaller versions of the waffle fry cups for hashbrowns or possibly going to bags like BK and McD's, it won't stop/solve a temperature problem, but it's not illegal to eat and drive, or maybe order the delicious yogurt parfait or fruit cup instead as a healthier option. Absolutely love I can walk in this location and not have someone draconianly assault me with "WHERE'S YOUR CLOTH MASK THAT LITERALLY DOES NOTHING TO STOP SPREADING DISEASES AND PLAGUES! HOW DARE YOU NOT WEAR A CLOTH MASK LIKE ME THAT I HAVEN'T WASHED SINCE MARCH AND CONTINUE TO REUSE ON A DAILY BASIS, DON'T BE SO SELFISH ABOUT MY HEALTH." Good grief I stopped going to Chipotle because of that kind of authoritarianism from staff and customers alike. The staff all follow the CDC "guidlines" and the location has up plastic shields in front of the register that are kind of annoying, to me, because you almost have to yell to make sure you're heard past them. Most of the customers that walk in for picking up or the delivery services will wear a mask and just give me side eye that I laugh off as they themselves ignore the 6' social distancing guidelines, when there is an entire empty restaraunt to stand anywhere in but are too lazy to want to walk up to the counter when called or believe they shouldn't have to stand anywhere but as close to the registers as possible. I mean if you're that scared just mobile order or use drivethru, where even in the Florida heat, the staff wear masks to appease the sheep masses as they themselves don't wear a mask because they are in their own car where disease and pestilence can't hurt them. Overall I'm more than happy to continue going to this location just based of the speed and staff alone. 2 thumbs up CFA Fruitville Rd Sarasota keep doing a great job!
P.S. to CFA corporate, please don't Taco Bell the new brownie. Most fabulous dessert that any fast food chain has. 11\10...
Read morejust now-Edit I am a frequent customer and usually use my app and do curbside orders since I am always on my way to work. I have come numerous times which almost every time my order has been incorrect. But, today topped the cake for me. I did a curbside order yesterday morning around 7:45 am I didn't check my order until I made it to the office and got my day started. I specifically state every time on my special instructions line when ordering NO EGG I have a severe egg allergy and if it even touches my food I cannot consume it. I called immediately and spoke to Michael. He took down my information and told me he would have the manager refund my order that they had a large catering order at the same time and he was very apologetic. However, I didn't even have ice in my sprite. My hash browns were cold and soggy and my burrito had only egg in it!!!! So, I went back this morning around the same time and asked to speak to a manager. After waiting 15 minutes Alicia came out. I explained the situation to her and her response to me was IF WE MESS YOUR ORDER UP ALL THE TIME, WHY DO YOU KEEP COMING BACK HERE? I was completely in shock. I could not believe a manager at chick-fil-a who always has the best customer service (except at your establishment) would even dare to say something like that to me. There is a tall African American manager in the past that works for you that literally had to go back on the line and help the lady making my burrito. She could not understand what NO EGG meant. That was my third time back and he was very upset that everyone there could not help me the first time I came. Refunds aren't given when they say they will give them and the food that replaces it comes wrong as well. I would just like for you to offer me better service and all your staff needs to be trained and put through classes on customer service. I could never act this way or think about talking to anyone this way and it is not acceptable. I will not be coming back to your chick-fil-a if Alicia is working especially as your manager in charge. Regardless if she has worked for you over 20 years. I called the store to leave a message for you to give me a call as well. I would like to know how you are going to fix this situation and reassure me that I am able to come to your store to get breakfast sometimes. I would hope that this is not acceptable to you as well as it was very uncomfortable for me...
Read moreOh, Chick-fil-A on Fruitville Rd in Sarasota, FL, you never cease to amaze me! Today was no exception. I drove in, expecting the usual delicious fare, and left with an experience worth writing home about. Jonathan our waiter did an exceptional job.
First up, the fries! Today, they were extra crispy and salty, much to my delight and surprise. It was as if they had been fried and seasoned by angels. Whoever decided to go heavy on the sodium chloride today, bless your soul.
Now, let's talk chicken nuggets. As always, they were the epitome of deep-fried perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. I’m convinced it’s the magical concoction of sodium phosphate and monosodium glutamate that makes these nuggets sing. Each bite is a symphony of scientifically-enhanced goodness.
To my udder dismay, I did not see any cows outside begging me to eat more yard birds. Perhaps they were on a lunch break? Without their bovine encouragement, I felt slightly less guilt about my poultry indulgence.
Of course, no visit to Chick-fil-A would be complete without guzzling down my beloved Diet Coke. The unpronounceable makeup of this liquid ambrosia, including aspartame and phosphoric acid, has my body hooked. I’ll be back as soon as my system discharges the current product and craves another fix.
Lastly, a shoutout to the kale crunch salad, my wife’s favorite. Packed with health-boosting chemicals like sulforaphane from the kale and glucoraphanin in the broccoli, she can’t get enough. She’s already plotting our next visit, and honestly, who can blame her?
If there’s one downside to this glorious experience, it’s the line just to get in. It’s incredibly long, but let me tell you, the staff does a wonderful job hucking food out that window and moving cars through so fast a NASCAR pit crew would be impressed.
Until next time, Chick-fil-A! Keep those fries extra crispy, those nuggets extra delicious, and those cows… well, just keep...
