El Toreno Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

Oh my. The fried beef chimichangagas (sp?) were apparently fine/Good. My husband got those. However, the Veggie Quesadilla was almost laughable. The veggies themselves were sautéed fine/nicely, but quite wet. They were then placed in a large tortilla and sealed like it was an enormous taco in foil. I could not detect cheese and nothing was bound together. I ended up just dumping the veg into a lidded container for breakfast the next day, added to eggs. It tasted OK since I added cheese, though it never did improve in looks. Still, it was 100% inedible for dinner, just a heavy, wet pile. I had to restrain my fury and frustration since I picked the place and it was for a birthday. I ate honey nut cheerios that night. The decor was interesting and the people were nice. Just be careful what you order. Maybe get their opinion on the best...

I ordered food to-go and arrived at the restaurant based on the time they said the food would be ready. when i arrived to pick up my order they had no record of the order placed. however, my credit card was conveniently already charged, so i had to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to make my order, that i placed 50 minutes earlier. got the food and it was horrible!! the chips were stale or not cooked properly. burritos, tamales had absolutely no flavor. Arroz Con Pollo had hardly any cheese and no cilantro that i requested the only plus was the salsa - that was decent. i definitely will not return since there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in this area to...

Walk In. 730pm. They close at 9 mind you. Two employees. No one acknowledges us. One employee seats us. Not like he wanted to. We get chips. And that's the end of our experience. I proceed to watch our waiter(a grown man by the way) get into the tv at the pickup window so hard, that he forgets what he's actually supposed to be doing. You know...Working. Can't judge the whole staff, BUT whoever the waiter was working 02/25/18 at 730pm, WAS NOT DOING HIS JOB. Got up and left. That's what he wanted anyways. Took our business to CANCUN:) Anyone who reads this, do the same. There is a reason they are the only coupon on the back of your Kroger receipt Smith...
