Horrible service. I drove 2 hours to get a certain type of whiskey not available by me and I was refused service because my ID “didn’t look real enough”. I am a 35 year old man with a beard and I already have some gray in my hair. The lady at the register seemed like she couldn’t care less about doing her job and the manager seemed like he was on a power trip by refusing me service. I have been to their other two branches without problem, but the people running this branch seemed like people who should never be trusted with any authority due to pride and laziness. Read moreI started going to the Elmhurst store in person two years ago, met a very courteous and knowledgeable store manager. I've been ordering home delivery since with no problems until last week. I ordered one hour deliver and two hours later nothing had happened .So I called the store and waisted one hour explaining my concern about my missing order. They must have a new management team with limited grasp of the English language, they kept on putting me on hold. However, I walk in with my friend who is also of age and has a horizontal ID and then I am told by the cashier I need to leave the store because I am not of age. We responded with calm voices but were not listened to in any sense and could no longer purchase any alcohol (me or my friend).
