Great place to get several different kinds of papusas! I personally would recommend the squash and cheese ones. They also have a rice masa, that would probably work for the gluten intolerant. It has a milder flavor, but a bit more crispy. We also had tamales and orchata. Both were definitely good. Would definitely return if back in the area! Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was clean. There's also a shop there, which we had to skip because of our plans...but could be interesting. This place could use a little updating, that's the only reason for not giving full stars on Atmosphere.

Great authentic Salvadoran food. All of the employees were kind. We ordered the wet burrito, mojarra Friday, combo plate, fried plantains and the bean papusas de queso. Everything we ordered was very flavorful and the portions were very generous. If you want authentic then this is the place for you. The corn tortillas were so moist and fluffy. We will absolutely be back! 🔥

I've been to this restaurant twice before. I'm Nicaraguan so this cuisine is very similar to that of my native country. I ordered the shrimp entree with ranchero sauce, a side order of fried plantains, and a side order of fried yucca with slaw. My friend ordered the carne asada. Just be sure you have plenty of time because it takes a while for freshly prepared food.

I recently visited Makse Restaurant, and I can say that it is a gastronomic experience that combines a cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. From the moment you enter, the design of the place envelops you with a rustic and modern decoration at the same time, perfect for a quiet evening or a special meeting.

The menu is varied, with options that highlight fresh and local ingredients.

The service was impeccable; the waiters were always attentive but without being invasive. In addition, the waiting times between dishes were adequate, which allowed you to enjoy the experience without rushing.

In short, Sabores del Alma is a place that is definitely worth visiting. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service make every peso spent feel well invested. I can't...

This is the most terrible restaurant I have ever been. The customer service is horrible and the place is dirty. The guy working today 8/12/16 was extremely rude and aggressive for no reason, I called in a order and when I showed up he tried to give me the wrong order, I order 12 pupusas and paid for 12 put he tried to give me an order of 8 pupusas. I had to open all the bags to make sure my order was correct. The pupusas are small and dry and while I was leaving I saw roaches on their walls this place is very nasty!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid this place like the...
