The reason so many halal places close down is because of the horrible customer service. Two men were working, one cook in the back and a man by the register. 2 customers in the lobby, slow for a lunch hour, I arrived there before 130 and stood there over 7 minutes and the guy still didn't take my order, he must have a problem serving women. The cook from the back finally came and took my order. A man walked in and the guy by the register rushed to take his order and even asked him if he needed extra ketchup or napkins. This is happening right before my eyes, these people come from Muslim countries to come here and act like this as if they were running a restaurant in Afghanistan. Although the food was up to par I would never return here solely based on their service, there are other halal establishments I'd rather spend my money to help. Having an empty restaurant during lunch service and they still don't think to treat people with respect, soon they will be closed as well. Another business lost due to ignorance and...
Read moreWent last night for the first time and had the lamb and steak shawarma combo. I asked for spicy and got none. The fries were luke warm. The shawarma was pretty good though. Lamb and steak was cooked to perfection. My gf had the chicken shawarma. She actually got a little spice when she asked for none. Maybe the chicken is prepped spicy? The salad that came with her combo was pretty good. The baklava was excellent.
UPDATE 5/9/2025 . My wife and I came again and once again they messed up my food order. I ordered the chicken shawarma and asked for a combo (shawarma+fries+drink). I ended up with a combo but they substituted my chicken shawarma for a combo steak/lamb/chicken shawarma. It was all good and it everything tasted good. A couple of gripes: If you pay by card, the minimum tip on the screen is 19%. I know you can right in a specific amount but most people won't. I feel like it's coercion. No fountain drinks. Canned drinks in a fridge are provided and they're not that cold. Place is clean though and the...
Read moreThis place is clean and people who work there are cordial. I ordered a combination shawarma . It had all the ingredients however it was missing two things, sizzle and taste. There were more lettuce and tomato and onion than there were meat pieces. . The cost was over 12 dollars including a can of soda. My take was you may have been okay with it if you were real hard up and had no other choices, like begging to buy something off of a roach coach at the end of the night however for a physical establishment, a major disappointment . Maybe it's me but I have seen and tasted far better. The ambiance is as of a low end cafe without decent seating arrangement or comfortable chairs which makes it an unlikely place to dine in and enjoy. I hope the operator of this business take my critic positively and have my positive criticism instrumental in making it much better experience and hence harvest his rewards. Meanwhile think twice before you...
