This place is a nightclub and I should be treated like a nightclub and how the experience has been for me thus far. I can say I've been going to this nightclub for almost a year with a friend of mine and we've only recently added a third person to join us and it's honestly one of the best places to just come learn to dance and dance actually with other people. I don't know if this might offend some ladies here but this next part isn't for the ladies. Men if you're actually looking to learn to dance and want to actually dance with somebody there is someone at the salsa room that you can always dance with. There's no judgment. In fact guys are encouraged to dance with the ladies instead of getting worried that they're going to get shot down because the ladies think that they're getting hit on. At the same time fellas be respectful these women are trusting you to be courteous kind and above all the gentlemen. Perfect place for a date night if you want to go out dancing. Great place to start your intro to dance if you just want to learn the basics. Awesome nightlife if you're trying to make this a thing you want to attend to a lot.
Food.
This is probably maybe its weakest point mostly because it's not designed or geared for you to want to sit down and eat. That being said if you do decide to get food there quesadillas pretty good but just be aware it's not like you can just sit down and eat. It's a nightclub after all and you're expected to come out and dance. Drinks can be very expensive so I would suggest either pre-gaming or have the money to Shell out for drinks.
One random note they do not let you bring bottles in for your own water and to pay for water is like 5 or 7 bucks I don't remember. They don't have any coolers or anything like that for the dancers who come out which I think is a shame because most people are not looking to drink a lot while dancing since they have to drive home and they need to be hydrated to keep dancing. But that's honestly my only one criticism.
Overall I think if you're planning to explore a nightlife this is one of those nice places to check out. You can't go wrong coming early to learn something new and if you're experienced you will find many of your kin ready to...
Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. It was my 1st and last time to this overrated place and I only went because a friend of mine was having her going away party there on a Wednesday night. I got there late around 12:30 am, paid $10 to get in then tried to dance and here came my 1st disappointment, the dance floor is so dirty and sticky you can hardly move on it and if you are one of the dancers who like some sliding in their moves forget it it's not happening there or you gonna hurt your knees. My 2nd disappointment happened when I needed to make a phone call just after 30 mins of being there at 1 o'clock so I decided to step away from the noise and on the way out I got a stamp at the door to be able to get back in, just 10 mins then I'm trying to go back in then I was surprised with a very disrespectful bouncer at the door telling me I can't go back inside, I tried to explain to him very politely that I just got here from a long distance for my friend going away party and paid my cover and was just making a phone call and I just walked out right in front of him not even 10 mins ago and here's my stamp and he's like it doesn't matter doors are closed but doors were wide open and the way he was talking to me I never experienced that before but I tried to stay calm and be professional about it, then by chance one of the people that work inside came by and the bouncer told him to deal with me and I was shocked he had the same response then a pretty lady came to the door smiling saying hi it's me and of course they let her in then the guy looked at me very disgusted and told me ok you can go in. WHAT???? I've never been treated in such a random disrespectful unprofessional way like what happened to me at this place. Dirty sticky place + rude disrespectful security + unprofessional management = HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE....
Read moreI feel extremely compelled to express my deeply regret of going to this place. The web side states that they open at 7:30 pm. We arrived a little before that to be able to enjoy some salsa lessons before a general dance. We waited until 7:30 and they didn't open. The bartender arrived at 8 as well as others servers and when I ask at what time can we come in they say when the manager arrives and that varies from 8:15 and up...We sat outside in a small waiting area they have. A very well dress man but contradicting his unmannerly, rudeness, a boorishness deminor came out and look at us with harshness and told us that the place is close and we need to leave the waiting area and wait in the sidewalk. I was offended after waiting for more than 30 minutes individual and ask him: "are you the manager'? he said yes...I couldn't imagine if that under educated person was the manager what can we expect inside! I told him his web side says their open at 7:30 and if not they need to fix that misleading information and at least be polite, excuse himself for the mistakes and let us in if they will be opening in 5 minutes at 8:30! that is the least he could do if he understood basic marketing and a good customer service. Contrary, he gave signs of ignorance, intolerance. classless and poor management in a situation that an experience manager could solve easily and keep everybody happy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE..if you are a person with high expectations of respect as a human been, these is not the place for you. I rate this place as zero and pray that anybody that decides to assist here will never experience this level...
