The morning staff here knows my family and I well since we've always ordered the same thing on the app and go pick it up. Over the summer, including weekends we ordered everyday...4 bagels toasted with cream cheese and upon pickup we order 2 xl coffees. Last Friday, I ordered three bagels instead same way and the bagels were not toasted...they were cold and dry. We rang the store but no one ever picked up and on Saturday when we went in my wife forgot to let them know. Sunday when we went in I figured I'd have them replace the bagels...my wife asked to speak with the shift lead... Jess or Jazz I believe was her name (she was Caucasian)... apparently the shift lead had to go ask the supervisor in the back about replacing the three bagels. She then came back out and told my wife she can only replace two and we'll have to pay for the third...needless to say my wife walked out. Guys... obviously it wasn't about paying for one bagel, it's not what you say it's how you say it. For folks that have been driving out of their way to give this business support you should have said I'm sorry let's fix it... especially folks that have been spending lots of money in your store. The other staff members have been incredible.... especially the other shift lead...she is African American and a pleasure to deal with...I apologize I can't recall her name. She was one of the reasons we kept supporting this store. It's unfortunate that this happened because it was our go to shop but that young lady is bad news...to corporate...that's a coaching opportunity if I've ever seen one. Penny wise and pound foolish...over one single bagel you've now lost customers that use to order 4 a day...do...
Read morethis dunkin’ is by far one of the worst lol the staff not only look at you like an inconvenience but when you ask questions as to why your drink is done wrong they’re basically like how would you know, and please get your order and leave type of look on their face. When I order this drink a gazillion times from other dunkin’s and news flash an ice cappuccino is put through a blender not plop some whip cream for the froth… so if you’re in golden rod do yourself a favor and take the trip to Oviedo or East Collenial and at least they get it right over therethey always get their drinks right at least the Iced Cappuccino also ordered via mobile, and they didn’t even inform me they were out of one of the things i ordered and when I asked again they looked at me like why am I bothering, when I asked for a refund they said it’s done via app, which is a whole other issue LOL bc that app is pretty bad. so yeah don’t bother with this location . the people hate their jobs (which who doesn’t) also it was empty and nobody in the drive thru. Also, I know being a service worker is hard and people are difficult...
Read moreI stop here every couple weeks for a quick breakfast while on the way for meetings or appointments when I'm short on time. Usually the coffee and doughnuts are always good. I'm a huge fan of their hash browns but only when they prepare them right. Too many times have I received their hash browns cold and yet they are served looking more like a hash black covered in scorch marks that after being burnt was placed under a low warmth heat lamp.
I also wanted to point out a specific order I had last week. The bagel I received was so chewy the dog wouldn't even eat it and he is known to eat nearly anything. He weighs in at about 45 LBs and can make a burrito disappear in under 4 seconds. Yet the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel to him seemed inedible. He did lack the cream cheese off as it was good but the rest of the bagel He dropped to the floor in disgust.
The workers at my local DD are at least polite and willing to fix mistakes but too often I'm already in a rush to check the food as it comes out and then go back through...
