Insomnia Cookies — Restaurant in Conway

We ordered delivery through doordash and insomnia was assigned to deliver it themselves. I was gone with my kids at all activity and my wife texted to let me know she ordered some cookies. She thought she was still waiting on them because the doordash order wasn't ever updated. I got home and the box of warm cookies was sitting outside our door full of ants. I didn't know this until I got in and sat the box on the counter and ants scattered from it. I opened the box and ants were literally stuck to the cookies.

I went to the store to get it corrected because it would disconnect when I "pressed 1" to discuss an order and it would also go to a voicemail that was full when I pressed 6 for "other inquiries."

The lady at the store? She gave us another order but blamed the cookies being on the ground in the delivery instructions being "contactless." So I pointed out that they didn't ring the doorbell or knock and again she said "Yeah it's contactless."

Listen, Insomnia... Contactless doesn't mean to not inform us that you were present and dropping off the cookies - it means I don't need you to hand it straight to me. But laying cookies on the ground and just walking away? How is that common sense? Especially when you apparently do not update your app to notify us the cookies were delivered. I tried multiple calls, drove to the store, got the new cookies, drove home, and I'm writing this review and the y'all still haven't updated doordash. Maybe y'all need to take that up with doordash? Who knows? In any case, common sense dictates that placing cookies on the ground isn't best practice. Common sense also says "contactless" doesn't mean to not knock or notify us. It might mean I don't need you to hand it to me personally, but that's because every other delivery driver leaving stuff on the ground always knocks or rings...

Insomnia cookies is a real snoozer. I happened to order a nice, fresh, and pulchritudinous box of six magnificently baked cookies; or so I thought. The cookies, which looked completely normal, I would later find out were not in fact made with the love I expected from the lazy workers of insomnia cookies, but were made as if they were baked by a literal kindergartner making their final meal before burning their house down. In lamest terms, since you dumbos haven't figured out what I'm getting at yet, is that my cookies were not made with flour and other baking ingredients. They had been substituted out for Elmer's Glue ®. I had been sent glue cookies. You, the reader of this review, may be wondering when I noticed my cookies were made of glue (and how I somehow knew it was Elmer's). To that, my dear reader, I answer that it was not me who had the first delectable bite of white paste, it was my dear wife Diane. I watched in utter shock and horror as she swallowed that double chocolate chunk cookie of death, watching on in absolute terror as it descended down her gullet and into her breadbasket. She was dead within the hour. I guess you could say insomnia cookies made her sleep forever. My new wife, Anna Marie, does love the cookies though and it is quite a lovely shop. Would go back again. One star though since I had to pay for a funeral.

PS I knew it was Elmer's because I've tasted it before. CraZArt on...

If I could rate this a zero I would. We ordered cookies for my brothers birthday 8/5/23. We received a confirmation stating the order had been delivered a full 8 hours before we requested. When we spoke with the recipient they had not received their order. We then tried to call the number listed for the Conway location and could not get a live person. At this point an email was sent. Customer service reached out TO THE RECIPIENT and argued with them over the fact that the order had been delivered. The recipient was home and had not received any deliveries. It took multiple messages to convince the CSR that they had not made the delivery. The address was verified, and of course they didn't have any actual proof of making the delivery. They finally relented and offered a refund. The refund has not been received yet, nobody from this business has reached out to anyone other than the recipient (why would they reach out to them in response to our email inquiry anyway). The Stillwater OK chain location is great, but this location leaves a lot to be desired...like the actual product and...
