Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Conway

The sandwich has soooooo much oil and vinegar that I can’t eat it.

Update 8/16. I was passing throw Conway when I ordered, so when I saw that I couldn’t eat it and then my stomach started hurting. I called to ask if I could bring it back and if they could put my name on a list to have it remade the next time I’m In Conway, which is almost everyday for work, and the guy said sure. So I turned around and brought it back. OMG…why did I do that? As soon as I walked in the store I walked to the end of the line. Waited till I was addressed and the young man said he’d be right with me after the customer ahead of me. He told me to place the used sandwich on top of the deli counter and he proceed to open it up exam it and say it doesn’t look like too much juice. I told him I had to soak it up with paper towels. This ordeal was very embarrassing because why do I have to lie about the sandwich. I would have kept it if it wasn’t for the excessive amount of oil and vinegar. After he said that the lady at the cash register said we can’t give you your money back. I said I never asked for a refund. Then I said I called may I speak to the man who answered the phone. He turned around and said he didn’t say I could bring the sandwich back. Because they can’t make me a sandwich 10 days from now. I said that is what you said. I know what he told me. The young man who examined my sandwich then said we can put your name down and next time you’re here we can make it over. I said that’s all I wanted from the beginning. Then the lady who said I couldn’t have a refund, suddenly changed her mind and said I could have a refund. I took the refund because now I plan on never eating with Jersey Mikes again and telling everyone I know what I experienced and tell them not to eat there either.

Like I told the staff that day, at first it was the sandwich that gave me a bad taste in my mouth and stomach, it happens I was willing to give it another try but after this experience with the staff, you all have left the worst impression on my mind that I have a bad perception of Jersey Mikes now.

Addendum, in response to the below: Myself, my roommate, my daughter, and my grandson's dad each have tried this sandwich. Particularly, my grandson's dad who devours everything stopped after two bites and also made the same comments. Entirely separate, and since the initial review, we've spoken to two others who had this and one other sandwich and lack of flavor was their primary take-away overall. So to be more detailed, this was not my singular opinion alone. I hope this offers something further for consideration. I did try to be nice and constrictive. No, we'll not likely be back any time soon.

This was our first time to try Jersey Mike's Subs. We ordered the new Portobello and Swiss sandwich. Without attempting to be mean or harsh (and hopefully this can help bring about change & improvement), this is THE most bland sandwich I have ever put in my mouth. There could not have been seasonings used, and I swear even the sauteed onions were flavorless. My daughter and I purchased the same sandwich and neither of us could eat more than a few bites. This is said with me even being used to a very low sodium diet (I'm glad it was not salty - there are other ways to season). But even that said, this was just terrible and incredibly lacking in...

From someone who has tried all the local franchised sub shops..this store is by far, leaps and bounds, better than the rest. The ingredients taste fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful and seem to really take an interest in the quality of food they put out to the customers. This is now my favorite sub sandwich store. I have tried 6 sandwiches before writing this review to be certain it wasn't a one time fluke of amazing taste and great staff. I won't be going to any of the other "fresh" sub stores. This Jersey Mike's Subs has earned an entire lifetime of business from me. Hopefully others will follow by word of mouth to try this shop. Hands down the best sandwich in town!!! I haven't been left unsatisfied by any of the 6 sandwiches yet. Favorites so far, the Big Kahuna Philly and the Original Italian. Fresh Grilled Meats made to order make the cheese steaks mouth watering and dying to come back for. Mike's, please keep this level of satisfaction up. The community in this city desperately needed, and should/will appreciate, the above and beyond attitude and bountiful flavors. Outstanding job, really!!!!
