For the sake of desirable communal health, Kosta Bowls will be your custodians. Clients surrender ourselves to receiving generously sized portions of refreshing Godsend of Manna in a veritable oasis of health-food stores. Ah, Conway, true land of milk and honey for us at-home patrons strolling bi-weekly, unwittingly in need of a higher power performing unspoken weight management under divinely proscribed increasing girth cinching providence upon us. God help us! The Atlantic Oatmeal's so hearty, I'll shovel it in two hours before noon knowing I won't need to eat anything again until late-night. A tepid, neutral room-temperature lodge-like setting, Kosta Bowls being a shadowy, mostly naturally lit ambient, it cloaks the quickly rotating, equally multi-faceted interchanging helpers: Serving, cleaning, administering to palming tenderly whirring blenders imbued with a sterile unseen distance separated by a doorjamb as a barrier. The unreality is of the blenders being within arm's reach behind the counter, but the unreality is that the sound is as if inside of a wet room without noisy echoes. Every sound has been isolated and softened, as if in a 1990s sitcom where everyone takes their turns and everything has its place. The dense driftwood tables along with equivalently massive floorboards make a sharp staccato of anything that makes noise as screeching chairs slide back... everything is intentional, echo-located to embrace the elbows and overstuffed coats of a never-present crowd... where are all the customers?? The humble entrance serving as the dining hall with the money-makers grinding methodically, ice and all, into smaller-and-smaller, is laid out as though you could touch the far ends of the restaurant by simply outstretching your arms, its beauty in its simplicity, like an old-timey diner. The Tween-Cherubim Helpers lull lazily between clients, singing along to coffee-house music, 'equally attuned to jazz or classical... It's a great place for kids. Driving down Main Street, you always see a parent with a stroller in the restaurant's outdoor seating. I predict a new detail on the menu of a zero calorie full sugar replacement. But, that was the complaint about Manna, they say it's kind of insipid. Yup-yup....

Bowls are delicious but staff has a MAJOR attitude with modifications. I come here every day for lunch and spend $20 on a fruit bowl. I add Nutella and PB- staff has a problem with you asking it to be on top and bottom even though you’re spending nearly $4 extra dollars for EXTRA. I also took coconut and strawberries off and asked for a little extra banana (bananas cost less than strawberries so the substitution shouldn’t be a problem) They got an attitude for that and I was told they couldn’t do it, that I’d have to pay extra. The blonde girl in the back then rudely said “you need to put that stuff in the description” with a lot of facial expressions to convey to me that I was a burden and shouldn’t be speaking to her. I tried to tell her that the added descriptions notes only allows so many characters so after “no strawberries, no coconut” you can’t type anything else. She continued to talk to me with an attitude like I was wrong, stupid and an inconvenience. You guys have a great product but terrible customer service. I even brought my co-workers because I rave about Kosta bowls and they wanted to try it and they had to witness the attitudes for their...

NOTE: I don't make low reviews. I try to be very positive and friendly with folks.......but here we are.

Very rude ladies, and waaaaayyyy overpriced. Will never come back. BEWARE to never make a mistake when you order. No room for human error. They are already very expensive, but they will charge you handsomely to fix the error, and the small amount of friendliness disappears. smh

Positives : Very pretty presentations, and very fresh, quality ingredients. The cafe itself is very cute and clean.

Negatives : Several ladies are not friendly and become extremely rude and patronizing if a customer makes a mistake when ordering. From the first time I came there, the vibes were very unfriendly, honestly. My daughter felt the same way...and I've heard other people say the same thing. Extremely overpriced. Also, I noticed when the owner isn't there, the music is played VERY loud. I actually had to strain to hear the girl at the register and had to raise my voice to give my order.

Sweet Berry @ Carolina Forest is much friendlier, slightly lower prices, and much more to offer on their menu, including...

Conway’s own Kosta Bowl located on Main Street in historical downtown. Local, ever growing chain of Açaí, Pitaya, Green and Oatmeal Bowls, Smoothies, Parfaits and Wide Awake Shakes. Healthy alternative of fresh fruits and spinach and kale, granola, steel cut oats, fruit and Greek vanilla yogurt, whey protein and their own peanut butter. All naturally sweetened with honey, maple syrup and/or coconut flakes. Take and Go or limited seating inside this restored building with counter ordering and table deliver. Metal stools line a narrow counter along one wall and metal chairs and small rustic, wood top tables along the other. My Coastal Oat Bowl was a nice blend of warm oats, maple and brown sugar, topped with chopped apples and caramel drizzle. Loved the organic, steel cut oats and the crisp apples and the little extra sweetness of caramel. A healthy, hearty alternative in the morning.

So our first time visiting, and we were welcomed by super friendly staff who helped us decide what we wanted. Once we placed our order, we sat outside to enjoy the view of town while we waited. It was a short wait and our food was brought out to us. The fruit was fresh, the granola was crispy, and the bases tasted amazing. Ten out of ten recommend!

Just one word for this place… DELICIOUS!! I love Kösta bowls and always go there with my daughter, so much that they can guess what we are going to order right when we walk in. 🤣 I got the Atlantic oat bowl and blueberry almond delight smoothie and my daughter got the dunes bowl. It was amazing! Thanks for all the good smoothies and bowls!
