IC Pasta brings a new frozen concoction to downtown Conway with spaghetti like ice cream. Italian style ingredients come in the likes of a variety of ice cream toppings. David, owner and concept connoisseur, has crafted his own niche after living in Germany and seeing a street vendor creative a similar concept. Putting his own creative spin David mastered a simple recipe of milk, vanilla, sugar and salt and applying to a cold plate set at -35° freezes to a creamy finish. (Speaking with David during our visit he did mention there may be a few extra trademark ingredients.) A simple form walks you through steps of picking a pasta, sauce and toppings. A wall display also offers your available ingredients/toppings. Your order is then prepared right in front of you by David or one of his master confection creators. Creamy, sweet perfection with a nice variety of ice cream toppings served in a waffle bowl at a reasonable price. Bohemian style decor inside offers a selection of counter seating and/or tables and chairs...
Read moreBest ice cream stop on our Myrtle Beach trip! The experience is utterly delightful and the owner is so personable. It is worth the trip to Conway! Lots of topping choices and a great alternative to the crazy mason or mcmilkshakes whatever the heck or Sugar Life.
IC Pasta has lots of outrageous menu creations available, like ice cream nachos and ice cream cannolis, but we got the ice cream spaghetti. (You can also ask him to make you a lower sugar version that is kind of like sorbet.)
My mom loved the pistachio “pesto pasta” and I was enamored with my raspberry topping. He even did the white chocolate with a parmesan grater like at Olive Garden. 😆 Oh, and did I mention it comes in a homemade waffle bowl?! Which was excellent. It would be so cool if down the road he decorates it like a full italian restaurant! 🇮🇹🍝
Highly recommend for novelty desserts and/or fun things to do on the way to Myrtle Beach or places to eat and get dessert on the way out of Myrtle Beach. Unique ice...
Read moreI went yesterday with my friend and we had a blast. We walked in not knowing how it all worked and the owner was very good at explaining it to us. The cute little menus to fill out with what you want are like a sushi restaurant and I love it. It was hard to make a decision. While he made our ice cream he answered all our questions about how he came up with this idea, how he makes it, and whatever else we could think of. He even put my friends ice cream in the freezer while he made mine so we both had perfectly cold ice cream. The spaghetti (strawberry) and pomodoro sauce (white chocolate raspberry) was so good I didn’t even need the topping. The topping were good though. Also very reasonably priced for what you get. Definitely will be back. This is a handmade product and takes a few minutes to prepare so bring a friend and enjoy some conversation while you wait for...
