Owners Steve and Grace Harrington have brought handcrafted authentic Philippine dishes, desserts and a true dining experience to Conway. From a scaled down menu one has a choice of starters/snacks, signature entrees and speciality breakfasts (during selective hours.) Inside is a quaint setting reflective of the Philippine culture with padded booths, padded chairs and tables on a checkered black and white tiled floor. Steve was very personable and greeted and seated us and soon we had menus and drinks in hand. First was a starter of their own delicious, deep fried Pork Lumpia with a side of sweet dipping sauce. Our choice of entrees was Pancit, with fried noodles with chicken, veggies mixed with garlic and onion. Noodles were a tad bit salty and the chicken light. But overall good presentation, flavorful and prices reasonable. Two pieces of Lumpia and sauce came with the meal. Living and supporting local businesses will have...

Great place to go with family and friends if you’ve been missing the taste of home cooked Filipino meals. My family and I ordered the beef caldereta, sisig, silog, and the crispy pata. Everything arrived at once. We didn’t have to wait for a long time. It was all fresh, well-cooked and presented, and, the taste was absolutely delicious. There wasn’t much talking at the table until we finished everything to the last bite. That’s how good all the dishes were! I especially loved the crispy pata which was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We ended up ordering more dishes to take home. The owner/staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and the decorations remind you of Pilipinas Kong Mahal. The restroom is also spotless and smells fresh. Well done! We are definitely having more goodies at Kainan Filipino Eatery again soon! Highly recommended...

Our family just left from Kainan Filipino Eatery and I can't agree enough from the people who enjoyed their meals here. Lumpia is highly recommended, pansit tasted like Philippines. Tapsilog was so satisfying and their chapsuey. I will definitely bring my family again here when we are back in the area. With Steven and Grace's (the owners) friendly customer service, they made our experience even more comfortable and pleasant. As a pinoy, we want quality, tasty foods and welcoming environment that will bring us back to Philippines right away without going there. Kainan is IT! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and give this restaurant a try. And oh, their place is absolutely very clean. Di Ka Mang di diri sa restroom nila. I am truly very happy to find their place. Shout out to Ate Jenny, nice to meet you! Thank you Steven and...

Kainan Filipino Eatery is an absolute gem tucked away in the charming downtown area of Conway, SC. This family-owned restaurant delivers a delightful and authentic taste of the Philippines that welcomes both those familiar with the cuisine and curious newcomers. The menu offers a satisfying mix of recognizable dishes (influenced by the Philippines' history with America) alongside unique delicacies like Kare Kare. They cater to all tastes with healthy, affordable options that make it a perfect lunch spot, as well as more indulgent treats. The owners are friendly and, clearly take pride in their restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the dining space is always spotless. Kainan has quickly become my go-to for something a little different that never disappoints. I highly recommend it!
