Yuki Teriyaki & Sushi — Restaurant in Conyers

I have been a loyal customer for years. Recently, I placed a DoorDash order and they forgot to include my sauce. I checked the hours online and it said they were still open. I drove up there and had my son go in to get the sauce but he said they were inside but closed. So I go to the door and the lady looks at me from behind the counter and waves me away, dismissively with her hand. Didn’t even bother to come to the door. So, I call, several times. She finally answers and I tell her what happened. A guy comes, opens the door, hands me sauce and doesn’t even speak to me, even though I thanked him.

I would never treat a customer that way. There could have been many reasons why I came to that door. Maybe I left my keys inside, maybe I had an emergency and needed them to call for assistance. To look at me and wave me away like that was extremely rude. I would at least have gotten up and come to the door to say, “Sorry we’re closed.”

Anyway, I refuse to spend my money with people who don’t respect...

The sushi was decent. We got the California roll and crouching tiger roll and I can say we'd probably get the sushi again but only because this place is about 5 minutes from our house. However the hibachi and teriyaki were sub par. The hibachi steak and fried rice hardly had any flavor. Also, their "yumyum sauce" has to be just mayonnaise and ketchup. Didn't taste like any yum yum sauce I have ever tried before. It was just sweet and honestly tasted like a mixture of just ketchup and mayonnaise. If you've ever had the "mayo-chup" from the grocery store it literally tasted just like that. The teriyaki chicken had a weird texture. It almost looked and tasted like pulled Rotisserie chicken which wasn't horrible but not what we were expecting. The teriyaki sauce was just too sweet and lacked any other favor. I've been here multitudes of times, i always order the three roll combo, fried dumplings, and miso soup. It comes out really cheap, but its good everytime. It's a family owned business, the family is from china, so expect the japanese cuisine to have some chinese taste here amd there. Their sushi is amazing, i alwaus get two eel/avocado rolls and eother a tuna pr salmon roll. I've never gotten sick, but i've always gotten full. The woman at the register is the nicest woman i've met in a long time, and gifted me authentic, painted bamboo chopsticks during the chinese new year due to how frequently i visit with friends.
