Subway — Restaurant in Conyers

I have visited quite a few Subways in my years of eating sun sandwiches but this was THE WORSE experience I have ever had. There were two guys working making sandwiches and it was during rush lunch time between 1:30pm-2:00pm, one of the workers stopped making sandwiches and started to mop the floor which I think could have waited until it was less busy. The other worker was standing at the table where they make the sandwiches and complaining about he had been there all day. I had to repeat my order several times the pans where you put the vegetables was empty with no onions, green peppers no lettuce so I said to him are you going to replenish the vegetables and he proceeds to hold his head down and acted like he was praying. So I said please finish making my sandwich so he says, “I had to pray”. Then he proceeded to make me two sandwiches which he NEVER got right; I ordered two footling sandwiches with two coupons @$12.99 and after called himself making my sandwiches they were so so SLOPPY he DID NOT wrap them properly. I said to him, this was THEE worse experience I’ve ever had at a Subway restaurant. Oh let me back up a bit; he went to the back to get more vegetables and he stayed back there for 5 or more minutes so I said to the customer behind me is he coming back. And when he did come back he had two handfuls of green peppers in both of his hands at that point I should have just walked out of the store but I had my mouth ready for my sandwich and mind you I was...

This subway isn't for a crowd at all. I was 2nd in line and still waited almost 20 minutes for 2 club sandwiches. The very meticulously slow man making sandwiches was in no hurry. There were an additional 3 customers behind me! The manager, (I assumed) because he was barking things "to do" the slow man. While making my sandwiches, the exact same kind, the store didn't have yellow mustard, green peppers, nor black olives, and low on onions during lunch time. I asked him to just shake mustard from the container for my sandwich. The worst part is that most of these vegetables weren't going to be replenished for the remainder of the day, and it's just 1:00 in the afternoon! Personally, I would have taken a few dollars and purchased BOGO mustard and large can of olives from adjacent Publix, instead of waiting on the truck scheduled for the next day. The manager left out briefly to get change, returned, put the cash in the drawer and proceeds to wait on the customer behind me and never washed his hands! I guess he figured that by putting on gloves, it met sanitary and safety guidelines. As I was walking out, I overheard the manager say that he had to run out AGAIN to purchase his tag! I thought, "are you kidding me"? More customers were filing in, there were several online orders needing filling, but he ran an errand at the most inopportune time. I rarely go to Subway, but since I had coupons, I decided to try it. I'll probably use the remainder of the coupons, but...

When two particular female employees are here I’m not only greeted politely, but I get fast and great service. I’m leaving a second star for those ladies. I came in just a few days ago to a long line and my sandwich was started shortly after walking in. Fantastic! But today. I walked in to 3 employees who genuinely could care less about customer service. About 6:45pm one guy was working slowly on what looked to be a call in order of one sandwich. The other two employees stood there watching him make the sandwich. Now I’ve worked food, I understand sometimes there are reasons but these people were talking about absolute random crap cutting up and laughing. They weren’t doing anything but talking. At one moment a guy walked up and said “you picking up” I said “no” he said “oh you’re ready to order?” And I said “yep I’m ready” he looked at me and said give me a minute. And I asked right back over just to talk and made me continue to wait until I eventually walked out. Considering I was there a few days ago and went out of my way to compliment the service I received because that’s how I am. Tipped 20% and left. Had they been cleaning or doing ANYTHING I wouldn’t be writing this because they truly already wasted my time tonight, but they were doing NOTHING but talking about completely unrelated subjects.
