Glad that Rockdale County recycles. They do not have curbside service so you need to bring your recyclables here. The staff at the blue bldg. entrance window are friendly, efficient and professional. I waited maybe 8 min. to get in, I was 3rd in line. The line was about 18+ vehicles long at the entrance and west down 20 when I left so I’m going to guess it was probably 35+ min. wait to get it. The first time I was here the staff person took my bucket and sorted the recyclables himself, this time I had to sort the stuff myself as the person standing there pointed in the direction of the bin I needed to put things in. However the employee told me that management instructed them to close at 3:00 because of an emergency accounting meeting. I just spent the last hour driving around Conyers & Covington trying to find a facility where I could legally dumb the several bags of trash & recyclables I had in the back of my vehicle.
