If you’re looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience, look no further than this great Yellow Handi Exquisite Indian Cuisine. I would drive 30-40 miles to eat here. This gem stands out not just for its vibrant flavors but for its outstanding service and inviting ambiance.
From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and elegant atmosphere. The restaurant's décor blends traditional charm with modern sophistication, creating a welcoming space perfect for any occasion.
The appetizers alone are worth the visit. The Kurkuri Bhindi, with its crispy, spiced coating, is a standout dish, delivering a delightful crunch with every bite. The Bang Bang Cauliflower is equally impressive, featuring a perfect balance of spicy and tangy flavors that will keep you reaching for more. And the Chili Paneer, with its savory, tangy sauce, offers a perfect introduction to the meal with wide variety of domestic and Indian beers you can’t find in other Indian restaurants in Atlanta.
Moving to the main courses, the menu offers a tantalizing array of choices. The Saag is rich and creamy, with a depth of flavor that complements its tender spinach base. The Korma is a testament to the art of Indian curry, with its luscious, aromatic sauce blending seamlessly with the succulent meat or vegetables. For something with a bit more heat, the Kadai provides a robust, spicy kick, while the Vandaloo’s tangy, fiery profile is sure to excite your taste buds. The Moilee style dishes, with their coconut-based sauce, offer a unique and refreshing twist.
The tandoori items are simply outstanding, each piece grilled to perfection with a smoky char and a burst of spices. The biryanis are another highlight, with layers of fragrant rice and tender meat or vegetables that are a true feast for the senses.
Don’t miss the sweets to end your meal. They offer a selection of traditional Indian desserts like, Gulab jamun, Ras Malai or the fusion chocolate naan, that are the perfect sweet finish to a delightful dining experience.

Read moreI was pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was a new Indian restaurant in Conyers. My wife and I love Indian food, but have to drive into Atlanta to be able to find what we just experienced.
There were two servers taking care of us. One for our questions and orders as well as another server to take dirty dishes and supply us with refills. They were very friendly in assisting us with our food selections; giving guidance and ensuring the spice heat level was to our taste.
We decided upon Chili Paneer for our starter. It was stir fried cheese with the most beautiful blend of spices in a chili sauce as well as chunks of onion, bell pepper and jalapeño. There were spicy notes blended together with earthy cardamom and warm cinnamon covering the crispy cheese.
For our mains, we chose the ever classic butter chicken in addition to spicy chicken vindaloo. Both came with white rice and we ordered the suggested garlic naan. Butter chicken is a very mild mix of spices, heavy cream, and puréed tomato and is extremely soul warming. Chicken vindaloo is typically very spicy in our experience so we requested it to be cooked to a medium degree of heat. It was so bright red with chili and had a slow building heat that you will find addictive. The Naan was very thin and generously coated in garlic and seasonings.
The owner Sam came by to personally greet and check on us as well as every other patron in his establishment, which we greatly appreciated.
To end our dinner we finished with Gulab Jamun, a very traditional warm dessert of two fried soft dough balls absolutely soaked in a delicious sugar syrup with light amounts of cardamom, saffron, and rose water.
The only suggestion I have is that they automatically bring a pitcher of water to every table. As they get more busy and folks inevitably order something they find too spicy, it may be hard for the staff to keep up with refills. A pitcher of cold water brought to every table will keep everyone happy.
That being said, this restaurant for us was a wish come true. I really believe this place has the legs to go the distance and stick around. I encourage my community to give them a try with an open mind to the different flavors that Indian food has to offer.
We will...

Indian in Conyers has been a long time coming, and we’re so happy it’s here. (Was so excited to try the food, we forgot to take photos: added photos of Butter Chicken and Bang Bang Cauliflower from a return trip.)
We ordered a lot of food to try it out. Some dishes have the option of Mild, Medium or Hot.
Samosa Chaat - like Punjabi Samosa, but it’s not inside the dumpling, it was tasty, but missed the crunch of the crispy dumpling. (No Spicy Heat)
Bang Bang Cauliflower- bartered and fried cauliflower covered in a delicious red sauce. This was my favorite thing (I love cauliflower), every spice and flavor melded well together. (Has Spicy Heat)
Chicken Tikka Masala - so rich and creamy and the chicken was so tender. (Was ordered Mild, had No Spicy Heat)
Saag Paneer - this is the best Saag we have anywhere. It was the brightest green and the taste was just as vibrant. Paneer is the Only way to eat Saag, the tofu just lends itself so well. (No Spicy Heat)
Chicken Moilee (curry made with yogurt, cream and nuts, and spices) - this had a slight fruity sweet taste, and was fairly creamy. (Was ordered Hot, was Full On Spicy Heat)
They food was packed with flavor and very tasty. Can’t wait to go back.
{{2nd visit}} Butter Chicken - a chicken dish with a tomato and butter based curry sauce. It was thick and hearty. Tangy and sweet. So yummy. (Ordered Hot, Full on Spicy Hot)
Cheese Naan - Tandori Naan (Indian word for bread) covered with cheese and cooked to a perfect crispiness. (No Spciy Heat)
Cheese Naan - Tandori Naan (Indian word for bread) covered with cheese and cooked to a perfect crispiness. (No Spciy Heat)
[[3rd visit]] Chicken Biryani. A rice dish with loads of flavor and veggies layered in it. It was soooo good. Served with a Raita, a yogurt based sauce, which helps calm the heat (if you order hot) but also adds a tart and tangy flavor to the biryani. (Ordered Hot, Heat level was just...
