You simply asked me does my son like Simpsons and rather than curse you out at your business I told you I was disputing it with my bank because how can you fix a whole cake you screwed up the day of plus a whole hr late??!?? YOU ALSO OFFERED $25 then $50 REFUND FOR A $145 TERRIBLE CAKE. YOU CALLED ME AND KEPT TRYING TO TELL ME THE CAKE WAS WHAT I ORDER AND EITHER TOU ARE BLIND OR SLOW TO NOT SEE EXACTLY WHAT EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS TEARING YOU UP ON SOCIAL MEDIA . I ALSO HAVE THE EMAIL WHERE I ASKED FOR STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE AND IF YOU COUKD VANILLA WAS FINE AND YOU SAID YOU CAN DO IT! So please again play with somebody else!!!!! TAKE YOUR L AND MOVE ON! YOU DIDNT PRODUCE WHAT WAS ASKED AND COULDNT DELIVER PERIOD! I placed an order for my son’s 13th birthday cake a week ago , I asked for a Simpsons cake , I provided two photos of my ideas and was advised this specific design could be done and picked up for a week later at 12 noon specifically,. I paid upon request and advised I was coming from an hr away 12 is when we needed the cake. The day of I was called at 11am and advised the Simpson cake topper was not delivered but she had another topper but would refund me the Simpson cake topper, I said don’t worry about it but I was on my way to pick up at 12 as I had other things to get done , I came at 12:30 for the cake not to be ready and had to wait 25 more mins for her to ice the cake and finish it. I said ok I was shown the cake at 1 pm and I just was so disappointed I took the cake and left , it’s nothing like the design I shown this woman via email. NOTHING! $145 for a cake that was rushed and looks thrown together is completely unacceptable. I’m glad this was a surprise cake not one my son actually wanted because he would have been completely disappointed at the lack of time and consideration put into $145 cake ! I am sorry but I would not ever order another custom cake from this business !

I would not recommend ordering a custom cake from this business. I placed my order a week in advance, provided clear instructions, and even sent multiple reference photos by email. I specifically asked for a heart-shaped cake styled like the example photos I attached (a red design with “Chapter 23,” but with the pink and cream colors from the second photo, plus glitter). She confirmed the order but delivered something completely different.

The cake I received did not resemble a heart, the colors were wrong, the lettering was uneven, and the overall presentation looked rushed and sloppy. It looked nothing like the photos I sent or what we agreed on. For $143, this was unacceptable.

If you didn’t understand what I was asking for, you could have called me to confirm instead of promising you could do it and then failing to deliver. I wish I had never even left with that cake in my hand, but I had appointments to get to and no time to argue. You ruined my whole birthday with this. Even when I was visibly upset but keeping my composure, you basically played in my face.

When I went back to address the issue, instead of taking accountability, I was told it would cost me another $15 just to fix the icing even though the mistakes were entirely hers. She also admitted she didn’t have the lettering materials I requested. If you didn’t have the tools to make the cake, why accept the order at all?

I was briefly promised a $50 credit, but she later reversed it. I ultimately had to go through my bank to dispute the charge and get my money back. ( Now will be having to go back to your shop because my bank said merchant did something on their end because you even took back the $50 that you said you’d give.)

Between the unprofessional behavior, the poor quality, and the dishonesty about what she could deliver, this was a terrible experience. Save yourself the stress and go to a baker who respects their customers and their craft. Today was my first time visiting this bakery, and while I had a generally positive experience, there were a few things that could have been better. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very excited staff member who asked if it was my first time and told me I could build my own cupcake. I initially thought this was some sort of freebie for new customers with a purchase, but it wasn’t clarified. I understand that’s my fault for not asking for more details, but it would have been nice to have that explained more clearly, especially as a first-time visitor.

That said, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff member was super friendly and welcoming. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and any available deals, which I appreciated. I ended up getting a cake slice from the refrigerator and, unfortunately, I found it to be very dry and hard to enjoy. It was difficult to get past how dry it was, which was disappointing because I really wanted to like the place. I still haven't tried the cupcake but I hope it’s good.

Update: The cupcake was absolutely delicious—everything the cake slice wasn’t. It was wonderfully moist, with the sweet potato adding a rich depth and contributing to its perfect density. While I’m not sure I’d return for anything else, I’d definitely give the cupcakes...
