Went to Chipotle's on Salem road once again. They were having problems with their system. The system was down, it was only taking cash. I went to the store. I got some cash, I come back. The system is down completely. They say you can use the app. Never use the app before. I was trying to download the app. By the time I've downloaded the app, the system came back up. But what my complaint is with the employee and the manager, the employee was given very small portions. She was getting a spoonful of chicken and then she was shaking the spoon, sold it a lot of it would work. They fall off and given that to you. So which in turn made me have to get a double order of meat in order to get to correct portion? Then she was snickeling, and she was talking smart, so I told her you, you have a very snotty attitude. If she got smart again, the manager, he comes over. Hey, Sam. What's wrong? What's wrong. I say this your employee here. She has a very stank attitude, tells her in front of us, whatever you're doing, stop it. You don't recommend your employees in front of the customers. You take 'em in the back for one. So my order, I went to the store again cash, so I got $20. My order should have been 1589. Well, it was 20 0 1, because she had to put some more meat in there. Because she cheated me out of the meat and made me pay for extra meat. So I needed a penny. I didn't have a penny only because I just got $20 from the ATM. So I reached into the little container in front and got a penny out, so I heard her snickeling. Because I had to get a penny out of there. So I asked her, is this your first job? The manager are going to come and tell me, okay, sir, that's enough. I'm a grown man. I'm 70 years old. I don't need you to tell me what's enough. I need you to correct your employee. Maybe y'all need to give them a little more training and also yourself. Because the last time I was there, they was out of bows. Well, I'm sorry not to Bose. They had to bulb, but not to lid. So Ah, extra, so what's your solution for if not having a lid, you're just going to put some foil over it. The employee told me I no, that's for burritos. I said you can't take a piece and just put it over. Dubo, she says, no I says, is there a manager? She tells me she is the manager, so I didn't go any farther with that. Read moreWhat used to be a great convenient store has quickly shifted to whackness. Whenever I come in the people aren’t happy. The new manager seems to know nothing about what can or cannot happen and always checks with the manager above her. Sad when a manager doesn’t have the ability to use her discretion and make ANY decisions. Things that I’ve ordered for months since they just opened are quickly being shifted and adjusted. Something as simple as getting my meat on the side is becoming a cumbersome order and they’re not charging outrageous amounts for it without ensuring the customer knows EXACTLY what they’re being charged for and what’s going on. When flagged they did nothing to rectify the situation. Opted to throw the food away, and start me a fresh bowl rather than simply solving, and stating “since this is a new policy (even though I just did this yesterday) we will let it slide today. But next time we’ll have to charge you x…” which would be both a solve, and better situation for all parties involved. I get back in line, and they’re out of white rice, and proceed to tell me it’s going to be a 20 minute wait. This is preposterous, and far from what I expected when I came into here today. My experience here is usually VERY pleasant. I typically come a few times a week and leave happy, and glad I decided to patronage a local business in my neighborhood. But today I’m feeling far less than pleased. While sitting here I also saw numerous customers having the same issues, and the manager going back and forth with them. Something needs to happen here. I gave them another chance recently and I can say I was not disappointed. My bowl was sooooooo goood and full. The pick up process is alil confusing wasn’t sure if I should wait in line or by the empty pick up area I assumed my food wasn’t ready whole time they place them behind the counter . Which I get cause ppl steal but maybe put a sign by the pick up area that says “ stand here “ and a rep will be with you shortly or something. Other than that everybody be in there hustling. Give em grace
Past review : This was my first time ever ordering chipotle and I can say I have more questions than satisfaction. For one I downloaded the app and utilized my free guacamole award .. its on my app receipt but was not on the receipt on the bag so therefore the restaurant did not provide my guac . I also ordered the chicken bowl and thought the sauce and tomatoes lettuce etc was gonna automatically come with the bowl … but I guess not .. the white rice , chicken and cheese was good but it was alil disappointing without the guac or even other things included with it. I tried to contact help through the app and pepper couldn’t help me because my guac wasn’t included in the overall receipt even tho it says it on the receipt app . So confusing .. don’t think I’ll order from chipotle again. I also went to the drive thru and sat for a minute they were prolly busy inside idk but I don’t really have anything not so great to say about the crew members. My review is for the app...
