Tacos Lupita — Restaurant in Georgia

NOW CALLED: Tacos Lupita Been here quite a few times, and they Never miss. The staff are awesome, love coming in and getting greeted warmly and chatting up while they’re cooking.

The food, seems to be quite authentic, which doesn’t surprise me cause the crew is authentic.

I’ve yet to have anything I disliked, or that was less than amazing.

I’ve had their:

Burritos (which are filled to the Brim with meat, cheese, rice and beans and some veg).

Tacos, which I have with the traditional onions and cilantro, (I’ve had their Al Pastor, Pollo, Chorizo, Lengua, Cachete) and each one is better than the last.

Nachos, which you can’t even try to close the box. Quesadilla (served w/R&B). I’ve even had their Hot Wings, while on the small side are some of the most flavorful wings I’ve had.

But my favorite is the Birria Tacos. Rarely do I visit there and not get Birria, the stewed beef with cheese and the Consume dip, Chefs Kiss! I usually add a side of Rice and Beans and top both with the Roja sauce (it’s spicy). They also have an onion and pepper relish kinda thing, it’s Hot but it’s a great addition.

I should warn, they’re more like a street vendor; there is no wait staff to bring your food or come to refill your drink, they don’t serve complimentary chips & salsa; but this place is an amazing...

i do love this places food a lot, it is very tasty but they’re service is too awful to even bother. they never pick up the phone for a call in order, i’ve called so many times over the past year, weekdays and weekends and they don’t pick up. online it says they’re open but every time i try to stop by, the doors are locked. they should fix their hours online if that’s the case. wasting gas to come over here is so annoying. both the door and google shouldn’t say you’re open when you’re not. multiple times i’ve tried to come eat here and couldn’t because they’re randomly closed. not sure how they stay open on other days. they’re so unpredictable and unreliable. they probably money launder because this has been going on for awhile. and then today i just ordered through their online system but when i showed up they were closed!!! this is again with google saying they’re open and of course after being charged $40 for my order. i tried to call and no one picked up. guess i’ll have to dispute the charge but that’s sad. honestly i’d recommend just taking the trip to taquiera el futuro if you can’t get into here. that’s what i do every time i want tacos because i know i won’t get...

The food is really good but the customer service is horrible. When I first began going here, they would greet me when I entered. Tonight they weren’t busy at all ( me and one other customer) . No greeting. The young man sweeping finally said hello when I said “hello..?” Another young man walks up takes my order, tells me how much (all while on the phone via his earbud). He hands me me the receipt while continuing to question whomever is on the phone. I then turn back to ask the timeframe. Once again, he replies without making eye contact. I don’t know if it’s just me or what but, show me that you appreciate my business. I guess I’ll try to make my own. 😂 And I don’t like to cook. 15 MINUTES LATER: I go in to retrieve my food. Same young man sees me and says “you’re ready ma’am” I say “thank you “ . He says “you’re welcome, have a good night”. That’s what I’m talking about! Did I mention that he wasn’t on the phone anymore?...
