Amazing pizza, with crust that has a little crunch, a little chew, amazing sauce with actual flavor and generous cheese that just tastes Better! Finish your meal with an individual tiramisu or a piece of baklava! Either is a sensual eating experience, I promise. I miss the delicious authentic foods that were available in the north and living in Atlanta. This restaurant and store is a taste of many countries in one menu, without leaving Cookeville. Greek favorites like the freshest gyros you'll ever taste with tzatziki that was so good I swear I'd bathe in it. My daughter loves the dolma, and the falafel, and she is has a particular palate, that was brought up on international foods.

On the othe side of the world - the cheesesteaks are so authentic, they could have been made at the 12th St Station..honestly I love this sandwich and will try to eat the whole thing, but it's huge! The bread is homemade of course, sinful, but worth it!

Step away from the chain restaurant and try something homemade, by two wonderful, nice guys at World Foods who know about flavor! No, I don't work for them, just encourage people to try new foods and learn about cultures at the...

Food is pretty good, but don’t try to dine in. The staff had the rudest attitude I’ve ever encountered in customer service. When I ordered, I was asked to take out or dine in, and I said it was for here at the counter. Evidently the man taking my order either didn’t hear me or chose to ignore that because our food was brought in take out containers. That wasn’t a big deal; I went up to the counter and asked for silverware, even saying I’d take plastic silverware. This was met with the rudest laugh and he said “That’s why I asked for here or to go.” When he brought the plates and silverware to the table, he slammed them down with another laugh and reiterated that was “why he asked for here or to go.” I told him I did tell him for here, and he laughed again and said “No you didn’t.” So I promptly took my things and left. Will not be back, as the other staff were also rude and made an exasperated comment when I ordered the same sandwich as my friend, who was paying separately from me. Absolutely terrible service; I have never been spoken to in that manner in...

I’ve never had a more frustrating experience at a restaurant. To begin, I wasn’t greeted when I walked into the establishment despite the employees being unoccupied. Continually, I was met with a very rude male employee when I was ordering. He asked me and the other person I was with, who I was ordering separate from, if we wanted our meal to go or if we’d like to dine in. She and I both said dine in, but after it was prepared, it came out in to-go boxes. That wasn’t a huge deal, but when my friend and I requested silverware, we were met with attitude, slamming plates on our table, and a very demeaning comment from the employee— which was simply a childish argument: “We said for here, sorry!” and was responded to with a laugh and “No, you didn’t.” Really, how hard is it to grab a couple of forks? At that time my friend and I promptly left— silverware still on the table. It is simply disappointing to see how little people care about treating others with customer service—let alone basic...

I hate leaving a 2 star review because the pizza was solid, but the falafel was hands down the worst falafel I’ve ever had. I read a couple reviews to just stick with the pizza if your ordering here so it is my fault for not listening. This is the only falafel I could find in Cookeville so I was desperate and ignored the reviews. The falafel had no flavor, was doughy (I don’t know how that’s possible) the tzatziki had no flavor and a weird thick consistency. The pita was also extremely thick and doughy. Texturally the falafel and pita were hard to distinguish between. It was legitimately inedible. I took 1 bite and threw it away. The pizza was actually pretty good. Not great but I would of gave the place between 3-4 stars if I only ordered the pizza. It didn’t hold up well the next day but fresh it was very good. Only thing I can do is echo the other reviews. If you come here ONLY ORDER PIZZA!

If you like to try new places and foods, you should stop by World Foods, so I was looking for a good place that serves a Rueben sandwich and seen these guys did so I ordered a Rueben and my daughter ordered a Philly steak & cheese sandwich and we ate in, so it took a little because they were really busy over the time we were there and one thing I noticed that the front door was a little hard to open and I saw a young lady try to open it a couple times and couldn’t, so I say if you can not open the door these guys are not closed, you just have to give that door a real hard strong push but is well worth your time because our food came out and it was worth our little wait and money it was delicious and a good size. So I will more than likely be going here again. #ruebensandwich #phillycheesesteak This is one of them places with a good vibe.

The prices are good and food is tasty, if a bit old. We got chicken and beef shwarmas, and the first bite tasted like hot mayonnaise drowned in nutmeg to me, but surprisingly bearable thanks to the hot bread. The baklava was probably super crunchy at one time, but it was super old and sticky by the time I came inside and ordered it. Tasted like bitter walnuts drowned in butter. Lastly we got a slice of the caramel cheesecake which was actually peanut butter and chocolate inside. A little stiff as if frozen despite being in the display case. I don’t know what was in it but it was okay. Large beer selection; I got a seasonal bottle of tangerine hard cider. Exceptional service. A good place to try something new, but I wouldn’t eat here often.
