I normally avoid this location. You're FAR better off going to the one in Algood. Usually around 25% of the time my order is wrong, and it jumps to 50% of the time if I go after 5. Then if you try to get the order fixed, you have a fairly even chance of dealing with a manager who couldn't care less and just wants you to leave. Really, it's not surprising that their sign ALWAYS advertises that they're hiring managers and other staff.
As a side note, this Taco Bell is always having problems with their promotions. For example, the PS4 promotion with the $5 boxes (which contain things I wouldn't order normally, as I prefer the Cantina Bell menu). I went in and ordered two $5 boxes, for me and my husband, and when they gave me the food the boxes had codes for an old promotion with MTV. When I went inside to ask about the boxes, they told me they had run out of the boxes, which happens. What really annoyed me though was that they didn't put anything on their outside menu to let people know they wouldn't be getting the right promotion codes (despite the advertising blitz), and when I pointed out they should have taped a paper sign up or something, the girl got really REALLY snippy with me. She told me I'd just have to come back on Sunday after they got their next delivery with my receipt and ask for new boxes. That's fine, if a bit out of my way on a Sunday, but whatever. The bigger issue is that she refused to understand why I was annoyed that they wouldn't let people know about a delay in such a big promotion. I tried explaining that it's just a polite thing to do for customers like me who don't like or want G. Crunches or Crunchwraps, but who order them anyway for the promotion codes. On top of that, once I got home, my food was wrong (I asked for everything in the Crunchwrap to be sub chicken, but it all had ground beef). I live out in the county, so at that point it wasn't even worth dealing with. I gave my husband my food and just fixed leftovers for myself.
So yeah, long story short... Just save yourself the trouble here and make the drive to Algood. Your food will be fresh and made with care (as opposed to smashed together in some semblance of a burrito), will have the right meat and additions, and the people there might actually smile at you while they help you with the rare problem...
Read moreTaco Bell is a well enough known chain that everyone knows the food quality, the key problem with this location is it's service.
I placed an order at 6:35 using their web app, from the parking lot because I had 3 kids with me and was trying to make the situation simpler. I waited a little over 10 minutes and went in the store. Cashier looked at me several times, never greeted me in any way, I stood in the order pickup area to be very obvious.
After over 25 minutes of waiting on her talking to other customers ignoring me or giving other people their food, she asked me if I needed something.
I told her I had a order that I had been waiting on over 30 minutes, she said "oh that was Togo" (idk what that meant sounded like she was trying to blame them, but my order said it was for counter pickup)
She then told me I owed 44 cents and that was why they skipped making my food, I gave her 50 cents, then she told me that was wrong and gave me the 50 cents back, and pushed the button for them to start my order. (they never had) I assume this is because I had a pretty large order being for 5 people, and it would have put them behind on their other orders.
It was a total of 40 minutes to receive my food. It was around 7:10 when I got my order (see image for estimate it would be finished at 6:35 time it was ordered)
At this point I didn't get a sorry about your wait or anything of the sort I got a "here's your food."
I reported this to the taco bell corporate form and explained the entire situation, and received no response of any sort, so I assume they really don't care at all at this location, at least the night...
Read moreI never come here but my son wanted Taco Bell and this was the closest location to us... so we swung through the drive thru and ordered a box - nothing fancy, nothing customized. The box came with 4 items, so we were gonna share it since dinner time wasn't that far away. Well, at first I thought I misread the menu upon ordering because the burrito in the box was a bean burrito... I could've sworn the menu said the box came with a 5 layer burrito... Well, I ended up going back through the drive thru and making an order for myself - which was customized and I paid extra for. When I got it, I noticed it was made wrong.
So, I checked my receipt and sure enough I was charged for the upgrades but didn't receive them. Then I decided to check the receipt from the first order I'd made, and sure enough the meal in that box was supposed to have a 5 layer burrito after all. So, all in all I paid over $20 for 1 meal and 2 a la cart items, that weren't what we had ordered or wanted yet, we were overcharged.
I can't attest to the temperament or politeness of the employees because I, sadly didn't have enough time to take the items back in, as we were already running super late. But I know I won't be...
