I had purchased some stuff over the weekend and realized my socks that I had bought still had the anti-theft on there. I went to take them back and no I didn't keep my receipt because I wasn't returning anything and I was satisfied with what I had. However I was told that I had to have the receipt and that anybody would have to have a receipt that comes back into the store with the anti-theft attached to their items. I do not agree with judging people it was their job in the first place to make sure that that was took off of the items it is not their job to judge people! wether it was stolen whether it was purchased it doesn't matter if they don't have proof and they don't do their job to begin with it wouldn't have happened! I even attempted to give the lady the card that I purchased it with and I went a step further and gave her the name of the employee that run up my purchase and she still proceeded to talk about me possibly being a thief and her not knowing! So yeah it was bought out it was reopened and there's new owners the Gordon Brothers, you're going to have to do better than that! What about me having to waste my gas to come back what about it interrupting my life my plans! And to think that this is what customer service has...
   Read moreCame in about 2-3 weeks ago and waited around 2 hours to be helped by an employee once I decided what I needed. Then once I paid (a good amount of money) they told me it would be no more than a week for it to all be ready. I'm on week 3, and have called to check on it multiple times only to be shooed away by various employees saying, "the truck should be here Saturday". I call on Saturday and get, "the truck should be here Monday." So I call on Monday and of course they said, "the truck will be here on Wednesday." Here it is Wednesday of week 3 and still getting the runaround. Apparently now the truck will be there Friday. Needless to say it's very unprofessional the way the employees just spit out a random day to tell you, just to get you to go away. The employees were so incredibly rude to me when I came to check in person as well. Will never set foot in this big lots again after I receive what I paid for....
   Read moreWe went into the store which is located 44 miles from my home to pick up a few items. We arrived at 4:10p.m.. long story, shortened, went to the check out because an employee told us there site was closing. Well, our few items turned out to be $386.98 and two shopping carts full of merchandise. Thank You for making necessary household items affordable, we arrived back home at 10:40p.m. and we're pleasantly surprised to unload ALL the merchandise we chose to purchase. The employees were very helpful and they went out of their way to find any items we requested, I guess that's why we were happy to spend our hard earned money here. This store has more than earned my Five Star (*) rating for customer service, overall cleanliness, and helpfulness with a genuine smile. Thank You...
