Tony's Pizza — Restaurant in Coopersburg

A few weeks ago me and my friends went into Tony's while in coopersburg. It seemed very so so like all the Italian pizza places do in and around. So we ordered a double cheese steak sandwich and some American cheese slices. Took them home and it was very very good! Then my friend asked if they could make some pizza with extra cheese and sauce? We would find out. Got it home looked and ate it, it was the best we could have! Tonight my friend and I heard about the lasagna? Heard the owner how he creates 3 of them til they run out. All from scratch and sounded terrific. So we ordered it along with garlic nots and salad. Ok now from a Sailor who cooked and served many Navy men and many high ranking persons while in the Navy. Tony's Pizzarie is by far the best Sicilian food and Italian food of any kind for miles. It reminded me of being in there country. The food made by the people there, family, is exciting! The sweet woman with the Sicilian voice, talks to u like she is ur mom and Tony, what a good man along with his workers and family. Pizza was good, ordered the medium “special” pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, and onions), a bit small, ate in one sitting for lunch but was very full afterwards. Giving 3 stars because the green peppers were undercooked and still hard inside, which was detrimental to the overall pizza. Also very expensive for a product that doesn’t seem to be much better than what you’d get at a commercial pizza joint ($23 for a medium pizza and $28!!!! For a large). You could buy a similar large pizza at Papa John’s for $20, and the quality would not be much different. Not a bad place to eat but there are certainly better...

We hosted our son’s birthday party at a business down the street and I called today to place an order. The gentleman was SO kind and helpful. I was just expecting pizza, chicken fingers and fries but wow when I tell you this pizza is AMAZING, I mean it! Everyone was raving about the pizza and the kids loved the chicken fingers & fries. I’d go out of my way to get this pizza, that’s how good it was. I asked if the food could be delivered at 5 pm and not only did it come about 10 minutes early, but it was piping hot too!
